Happy to look into each of those for you guys if you could please DM me your order numbers! So sorry that it seems like you've fallen through the cracks here. Most backpack returns have already been completed so this is definitely abnormal.

They aren't a tech company. They are a media company and I'd bet at this point merchandise sales account for a significant % of their revenue. They have staff dedicated to the store. I'd get it if they were selling merch out of their garage but at this point I would have to thought they would have the process ironed out. I get that problems happen and I'm fine with that. But their communication has been atrocious and it should not take over a month to sort these kinds of problems out. If their shipping company is refusing to send return labels, they could very easily go on USPS and create one themselves. It takes minutes.
 
But it's even more concerning the people above have evidence that their bags have been delivered and they still aren't able to get a refund after a month. Maybe I shouldn't even bother. Just sucks now that I'm not going to get a refund nor a coupon.
 
Edit: As of March 27th, my issue has been resolved. I would not hesitate to make another purchase in the future based on this experience.

That's brutal. I just wanted to upgrade to the leather one 😭. Kind of annoying seeing how bad things are with the store right now and then Linus goes and pulls a stunt with the "write off t-shirt" that did nothing but hammer the store with hundreds of unprofitable orders. 

I have been trying to return the backpack for over a month now. Initiated the process and never received anything after the initial instructions. I have sent an email asking for an update weekly trying to move the process forward but have had no luck other than a couple responses blaming a third party service. With all due respect, I have been a customer for years. The first order I made I ordered 2 desk pads. Shipping took long and it only contained 1 desk pad. Support took weeks to acknowledge send the second one. I wrote that off as no big deal as LTT was experiencing exponential growth at the time and I figured it was just growing pains. The second negative experience I had with LTT Store was the screwdriver. I received shipping tracking info that just sat idle for a whole month before it finally showed movement. This time I'm trying to return the backpack and have been given the runaround (or what it feels like) for a month. I have no reason to think you guys have nefarious intentions... But blaming the third party services is getting old. If every shipment has issues, maybe consider switching to another service provider? 
 
Edit: it was actually the backpack that took a month to move after shipped. I knew it was one or both of them but I just looked at my comment history here and yea it was a big issue with the backpacks lol. I don't remember if I had any issues with the screwdriver shipping.

well they charge through copper coils, so there could be a copper coil to USB thing that you maybe be able to slick under a desk pad, that would be about it in terms of how thick it would be. 

Somebody did this back in 2020. It requires one mod or two though 🙂

Finally received mine. And it is glorious. 

Without getting too into it, a lot of the financial issues, other than typical mismanagement, is caused by congress meddling and passing things which restrict services that can be offered and stuff like that

The prices and the reliability are both due to the postmaster… and yes, he took us out of the international shipping thing, didn’t think we got paid enough, mostly on all the stuff from china. He’s too busy taking sorting machines off line and closing sorting plants and post offices to ‘save money’ without realizing (or caring) its killing the reliability and causing a lot of shippers to switch away from us actually making us lose money. (I work for the USPS)

Yeah truly... they used to be amazing for Int'l even, which was the lifeblood of our carrier's business in the early days. Then they made some changes and really seem to have screwed a few things up... I've always heard that USPS was never going to be sustainable/profitable (or even nearly break-even) the way it was set up before - not sure if there's validity to that - but seems like enough people with influence felt like something had to change and here we are...

7pm and nothing, not like I expected it to actually show up.

Completely understand the frustration. Part of the challenge in this process has been determining the actual cause of issues and what's leading to things happening outside of the way that they should, and doing so in a timely manner without some of the feedback systems that would lead to better outcomes (which we will be working on). The last thing we want to do is provide an update with improper info, which has happened a few times by me along the way due to trying to rush an update/response.
 
We need better systems in place to ensure that we're auditing label printing on a more regular basis so we can catch these issues more quickly, as the follow-ups that we have in place did not work this time around... there were a few really, really silly issues like our label printing system using its own ordering queue rather than the store's ordering queue to pull orders by default, stuff that should just never happen and should be caught much more quickly.
 
The team is learning a lot along the way, and we've made some mistakes, for sure. We're trying to improve as we go.

Well first off... Because I wanted a bag asap... Not in 6 months from now.
 
Second, while my feedback might seem unwarranted to you. IMO, it's better people like me and other loyal LTT viewers keep Linus, Nick and team honest about their business practices than average viewers that would likely just do a chargeback or leave negative reviews and trash the company when things go wrong. Feedback from the community is a great way for them to know the areas where they need to improve. It's obvious that they are seeing some extreme growing pains and need to make improvements multiple parts of the fulfilment process. The fact that it's been 7 days since my order shipped and there is still no update to my tracking info is pretty bad. Maybe they should consider a different service?
