  1. So, should i leave it as is and it should run for a few years fine? or do I just leave them at stock? Planning to upgrade to 8x2 3200Mhz for the 2 pc's but not anytime soon ATM.
  2. I'm not using green gpu on my system anymore but based on what you are experiencing it seems the same on my GTX 1050 Ti before. What I did was to disable the in game overlay of GeForce Experience or just completely uninstall the GeForce Experience. (It tends to eat up some ram usage anyway and the only thing useful I find for it is it informs you for GPU driver updates lol). Anyways, maybe you can give that a shot as well if all else fail. Just the GeForce Experience. I'm on team red gpu now w/ their latest adrenaline 2020 and I also find disabling the in game overlay of it giving me better fps and performance on all my games.
  3. As per the title. I bought 2 budget rigs for my 2 kids, both are using the following hardware components except one of them are using my 6months old GTX 1050 Ti CPU: Ryzen 3 2200G Mobo: MSI A320M PRO-E Ram: Ramsta 8gb ddr4 2666Mhz It's not running 24/7 (since of course they are kids lol) and I make sure that they turn the systems off lol. Anyways, I got a bit curious with this specific super budget (super because its way cheaper than on the online price I saw and not to mention it was on sale last month). 3 links below is all I can find an information about the memory. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32888410613.html https://shopee.ph/Ramsta-8gb-ddr4-2666mhz-Gaming-memory-Auto-Dual-Channel-i.15914422.2483052224 https://www.lazada.com.ph/products/ramsta-desktop-memory-8gb-ddr4-2666mhz-with-heatsink-2666mhz-ramsta-ramsta-8gb-2666mhz-ddr4-desktop-ram-dekstop-memory-ddr4-4gb-kingston-eudar-hyperx-samsung-adata-corsair-ama-trading-i457474420-s1178138180.html And so I went ahead in MSI's friendly bios and tried the "memory try it". Honestly not sure what CL rate it is using because the box it came in does not have any information about it. The aliexpress above, seems to be not true because heck it's a super budget ram at that cl rate? Oh well, if it's true and it's good I guess? What I did is to make the speed to 3200Mhz but with a higher cl rate which I know is meh... CL 18. To my surprise, it is stable and the usual games they play such as GTA V, CSGO and Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege are running quite faster than the stock ram settings. So my question is, granted that this is $26 (that is how much I bought them). It does have a heatsink but heck its a super budget ram. Can I consider this as a silicon lottery luck or a bad move degrading the hardware components? Thanks
  4. Actually, I was more concerned on my hardware/computer if it will not blow up or something since I have it overclocked to 4.0Ghz at 1.350v lmao But I guess its all good, the computer is running fine as I can see via TV :D
  5. Actually, teamviewer is just for me monitoring my computer. I was asking specifically on the safety it So I guess it's all good then?
  6. Hi Guys, Just wanted to ask if it will be safe to do this, leaving my computer open and unattended just teamviewer (for minor monitoring). Computer specs are below: CPU: Ryzen 5 3400G forced OC to 4.0Ghz CPU Cooler: Deepcool Gammaxx 400 Cpu Air Cooler PSU: Cooler Master Masterwatt 650W TUF Gaming Edition Case: Cooler Master MasterBox MB520 GPU: Sapphire NITRO+ RX 570 8GB (auto, not OC but manual fans setup via msi afterburner) Motherboard: MSI B450M Mortar Max RAM: 16GB G.Skill Ripjaws V DDR4-3200MHz SSD: Hikvision C100 240GB SSD HDDs: 1TB WDC WD10EZEX-00MFCA00 7200RPM, 1TB Seagate ST1000DM003-1ER1C Mouse: A4Tech's Bloody TL90-TERMINATOR LASER GAMING MOUSE Keyboard: Redragon K552 Mechanical Gaming Keyboard "Kumara" Red Headset: Fantech HG12 Solar RGB Gaming Headset Mic: BM-800 Condenser Mic Webcam: Logitech C270 HD 720p Monitors: BenQ G910WAL 75hz 1400x900 (6 years old), Nvision 60hz 1600x900 Fans: x2 DEEPCOOL Windblade 120mm, 1 stock case fan Cooler Master MasterBox MB520, x3 generic Blue 120mm case fan (case fans are setup manually to run at least around 80 to 90 if temps goes as hi as 70 degrees celcius.) Running major application is black desert online (gamezb dot net private server lmao) which my current temps in game at remastered high settings are: CPU: 60 degrees celcius (it goes to 40-50 or so when I minize to tray) GPU: 56 degrees celcius System/Mobo: 46 degrees celcius SSD: 50 degrees celcius (this is where the game is at) HDD1: 41 degrees celcius HDD2: 43 degrees celcius I will be back at home after the new year so that's why max will just be 2 days or I'll just shut it down if ever we extend lol. I know my PSU Cooler Master Masterwatt 650W TUF Gaming Edition is "Tier B - Recommended for entry level gaming systems only, preferably single PCI-e power connection on GPU, desktops intended for prolonged 24/7 usage." as per the PSU Tier list here but just wanted to make sure before I do anything reckless like this lol. TIA!
  7. Hi, Asking for a friend who is about to do some upgrades and do not have an account here lmao. What is the main difference aside from dimensions and looks for these 2 Team Delta (Teamgroup) memory modules? https://www.teamgroupinc.com/en/product/night-hawk-rgb-night-hawk-ddr4 (why is this cheaper?) https://www.teamgroupinc.com/en/product/delta-rgb-ddr4 At first, when checking the view specs on the website I thought it was the data transfer speed, but looking them side by side for the 3200Mhz variant (which is what he tends to be buying), the numbers are the same. Can anyone shed some light about these? Maybe the cheaper one tends to heat faster or what? We don't have memory tier list because of the lifetime warranty I guess so not sure and am a bit confused myself lol.
  8. @LukeSavenije Sir..Just wondering, the Cooler Master MWE 80+ V2 these are even the none-bronze? Like this one here? https://www.lazada.com.ph/products/coolermaster-mwe-550-white-230-v2-80-plus-standard-230v-eu-certified-power-supply-mpe-5501-acabw-us-i398908314-s939410768.html?spm=a2o4l.seller.list.1.12165990RYxPzX&mp=1
  9. @LukeSavenije Is this not in the Tier list? Sorry, a bit confused on the FSP Hydro series models https://shopee.ph/FSP-PSU-Hydro-MX-80-Bronze-Full-Modular-i.88635326.6003194032
  10. Hi LTT people, Just asking this for a friend. Is it true that higher refresh rate monitor consume more power/electricity bills vs the standard lower refresh rate ones? Been seeing some articles over the internet that YES it does based on their own testing. I wanted to ask here just to be sure and so I can answer my friend 100% accurately TIA
  11. Thanks, I need a modular or a semi-modular. The problem here in my country is availability which is why I went to our online store where it is available. Not to mention, I have to consider the ratings and reviews of that store. It's hard to buy these type of things online then have it refunded in a few days because its possibly fake. Thank you for the feedback
  12. Just these Ryzen 5 3400G Deepcool Gammaxx 400 cpu air cooler MSI B450 Mortar Max Sapphire Nitro+ RX 570 8GB 2pcs of 1 TB HDD 1 SSD 6 case fans I know that 550w may be enough but considering future proofing as to why the $2+ difference of the COOLER MASTER MASTERWATT650 TUF GAMING EDITION 650WATTS 80+ CERTIFIED BRONZE MASTERWATT 650 seems to be a good deal. Specially if in case in the future I'd get an RX 5700
  13. thanks, still not sure which one to buy between the 2 though the Cooler master one looks better because it's 650W and just a very small marginal amount difference.
  14. Hi, Just wanted to confirm if both of these are Tier B's? Also, which is better? Corsair CX550M Power Supply 550watts Semi Modular with APFC 80 Plus Bronze, True Rated Power Supply https://www.lazada.com.ph/products/corsair-cx550m-power-supply-550watts-semi-modular-with-apfc-80-plus-bronze-true-rated-power-supply-80-plus-rated-psu-for-micro-atx-and-atx-casing-for-gaming-and-for-video-card-that-needs-8pin-and-6pin-connector-quiet-and-durable-cooling-fan-affordable-i267690658-s379696416.html or COOLER MASTER MASTERWATT650 TUF GAMING EDITION 650WATTS 80+ CERTIFIED BRONZE MASTERWATT 650 https://www.lazada.com.ph/products/cooler-master-masterwatt650-tuf-gaming-edition-650watts-80-certified-bronze-masterwatt-650-tuf-gaming-edition-i312544409-s629908605.html Thanks in advanced!
  15. I guess you are wrong then? I think BBB pushed the refund despite Blizzard keeps on telling me and BBB that it's beyond 72 hours from purchase. I just played around 3-4hours as they saw the date/time stamp on my account. Blizzard even kept on brushing me off 3x before I finally escalated and filed a complaint to BBB. Thanks @Mark Kaine because you helped me out here It was worth a shot.
  16. I only played 29 Matches all in all as per their website in CODMW. Each matches are around 10-15 minutes or even less, so that's not even 24hrs or 12hrs of total game play. They keep on telling me: "Im sorry to let you down but we’re not able to help with this refund due to too much game time on your account" $63.99 is around 49 pounds I believe. That's something I can use for other better games. Don't get me wrong, I love the game. I just hate how they can't optimize it. They launched it at a buggy state, I thought purchasing it after 3-4 weeks of it's release (not to mention the Black Friday Sale), would eventually fix everything by now. But nope I guess for now I'm stuck and will wait for the BBB for their response.
  17. Thanks, I am submitting one now. Hopefully they can shed a light here because the game is good? YES. The game is super buggy? YES, just google it and see the links I gave out there. It may not be happening for everyone but think about it this way. Basic steps you can do is scan and repair the game, if that does not work. You'll have to uninstall/download/reinstall the 130+GB game, not everyone has the leisure not to mention unlimited data or fast internet to be able to do that always every time.
  18. https://community.callofduty.com/t5/Call-of-Duty-Modern-Warfare-PC/Dev-Error-6065-FIX-THIS-GARBAGE/td-p/11212947 https://www.windowscentral.com/list-call-duty-modern-warfare-bugs-and-issues Try to google that disc read error, that's what I have been having. The fix for it sometimes is to just do a scan and repair, or completely uninstall and download the whole game. It's not isolated for me, my friends have the same issue from time to time. Even you are inside the game already and it works fine, then you get a multi kill. Boom! The problem is the game is not really optimized and they force the game updates within the game lol. Never had this problem on steam, uplay, origins, epic. Only on CODMW battle net and not to mention Overwatch don't have this issue. You are lucky you don't have that issue then. So BBB won't be able to help out I guess?
  19. Anyone else attempted to demand a refund to Blizzard/Activition on their broken CODMW game? A game that within the game, they would force update it, break it then you have to re-download the whole game. Scan and repair may or may not work, not to mention you have to uninstall and re-download the whole 130GB+ game files to have it working again. The great thing about it is, all my friends are also having the issue and it's all over the internet forums and google search lmao. Then they would tell you even if you just purchased/played the game a few hours (I just got it last 11/25). "Basically the refunds are not normally something we offer as all sales are intended to be final. While we do try and help out with exception were possible, these are extremely limited and dependent on the time that has passed since the purchase and the amount of activity on the game." Nice scam blizzard lmao. I felt I throw a $63.99 If we report this to the better business bureau, will they file a case or so to push it?
  20. Is a "be quiet! Pure Power 10 CM 600W" legit Tier B+?
  21. Currently using this https://www.thermaltake.com/litepower-rgb-650w-230v.html with a Sapphire Nitro+ RX 570 8GB (just using 8pins and not overclocking). No overclocking as well on my CPU or so. Got 7 fans in total (including the Cpu cooler fan). Ryzen 5 3400G MSI B450 Mortar Max GSkill 8x2 3200Mhz Will it be an issue if I don't upgrade at soonest to a Tier B? I mean, I won't be playing 24/7 and just usually 4hrs or max perhaps would be 8hrs. Could the upgrade wait next year coz I really diidn't have enough budget and only noticed this tier list a few months back.
  22. Hello LTT peeps, I have a windows 10 Pro 64b with 8gb ram. My 2012 gpu broke (Sapphire Radeon HD7850 DDR5 256bit 2gb) so for the meantime I am using the APU of my AMD A8-6600K which I believe is 8570D basing on the AMD website. However, everytime I restart a driver installation pop ups after I type my password as if it is installing the driver again. It's endless even if I disable any related catalyst or amd from the start up. I used guru3d's DDU but got the same issue so out of curiosity I checked my motherboard website. Asrock FM2A68M-HD+ https://www.asrock.com/MB/AMD/FM2A68M-HD+/index.asp#Download Then I read that it has it's own driver + the confusing part is under the specification, I see Integrated AMD Radeon™ R7/R5 Series Graphics in A-series APU R7/R5?? But that is different than 8570D right? Correct me If I am wrong please. Anyway, which driver should I be using then to get rid of the endless driver install issue everytime I restart? https://www.amd.com/en/support/apu/amd-series-processors/amd-a8-series-apu-for-desktops/a8-6600k-radeon-hd-8570d or https://www.asrock.com/MB/AMD/FM2A68M-HD+/index.asp#Download BTW, the driver seems to work as I can play CS Go or Black Desert Online (on optimal settings of course) smooth.
