  1. i have an ASRock H110M-HDS but if i were to upgrade my PC id prob buy a ryzen mobo and cpu (ryzen 1700 or 2600). my psu is 550w bronze from coolermaster. ill try contacting customer service for the laptop now but its been a couple years and i dont think its under warranty anymore
  2. hey, earlier last month my laptops screen would randomly start flickering and after i moved it slightly it would fix. now its gotten a lot worse and happens way more often and its hard to get rid of it. im assuming i would have to get it repaired but does anyone know the general issue? the screen flickers and stretches vertically a ton and is all black, white and grey. also how much would the repair cost be and would it just be worth it to upgrade my pc instead? specs for laptop and pc that ik listed below: laptop: i7 6700HQ @2.6GHZ 16GB DDR4 2133mHz 240GB SSD 1TB HDD NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950M PC: intel pentium g4560 8GB DDR4 2133 1TB 7.2K RPM HDD RX580 8GB
  3. i havent really ever worked with opening laptops and stuff so im not sure where or how to do it. do you have a vid you can link?

  5. really? i have never plugged my 60hz into the gpu and just the rear panel (mobo)
  6. do i need to plug my 144hz into only my gpu? and outlet of course
  7. I have a 21.5" 60hz monitor and have a 23.5" 144hz monitor with freesync coming tomorrow. I will be using DVI for my 60hz and displayport to displayport for 144hz. I have seen many people complain about not being able to run the 144hz monitor at 144 and only 60 because of the other monitor. They also mentioned it possibly having to do with the graphics card. I have a Sapphire RX 580 Nitro+ so should I have any issues? Can someone explain how I would need to set them up because I want to be able to play games on one while normal browsing/anything else on the other. Also, I dont have the 60hz monitor connected into my graphics card, just the back end of my PC.
  8. tyyy just wanted to reassure myself i didnt make a terrible mistake
  9. i just bought a monitor cause i wanted to upgrade fro 60hz and 5ms to 144 with 1ms. i have seen a lot of people say that TN panels are really bad and stuff to do with colours (i dont really know much about monitors) so i was wondering if this was a bad idea? i already ordered it and it was on sale and fit my budget perfectly and personally im not too picky and dont really notice colour differences until things are side by side. will this monitor be fine for 1080p gaming at 144hz with freesync? old monitor: https://www.amazon.ca/BenQ-9H-LE5LB-QPA-21-5-Inch-LED-Lit-Monitors/dp/B019EFMK1I/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1548962998&sr=8-3&keywords=21.5inch+monitor new one: https://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824011259
