  1. A small update: only I receive those weird duplicates. Since I've sent another MMS text, I now receive this pattern: text1, text1, text2, text2, photo1, text1, text1, text2, text2, photo1, etc.
  2. Hello there, my phone decided to recieve a MMS message everyday, without anybody sending it. Twice a day, it simply notifies me that i recieved a message. The first one is always a photo sent by the other side, after some time, I get another one, which once was my reply to that photo. For some odd reason the reply is duplicated. Both sides see the same thing. Here's a diagram to help visualise it: It occures only once a day, but everyday since I sent that reply. Only happens with one specific contact. It also only happens with MMS messages, normal SMS texts work just fine (Messenger sort of separates MMS from SMS into 2 separate conversations, one only has MMS, other has SMS and photos from MMS). When I sent another text reply to that MMS conversation, I recieved it back 3 times. It even shows it was sent by me ('já' translates to 'me'), as shown here - https://imgur.com/a/siqbNdb The phone is a Lenovo P1m, android 5.1, using Messenger to send texts.
  3. I'll give it a try when it happens again. Now I managed to turn off my PC just fine. I guess it might happen randomly.
  4. What do you mean by that? Like, fully formatting all drives, then installing win? If yes, not really. I only formatted the SSD (literally clicked Format button at the drive selection), then installed windows 10.
  5. Hi, my PC decided to take a break. After a shutdown, it doesn't boot and tries to make an automatic repair, which then fails. I just get an error message which tells me to look into an empty Recovery.txt file. It doesn't even get info safe mode. A reset (fake reinstall) doesn't even work. Restoring windows doesn't do anything. The restore gets complete, then needs PC to restart, and finally takes me back to the recovery screen so I can start over. Trying to troubleshoot from a USB instalaltion media yields the same results. The only thing that, at least temporarily, works, is a reinstall of windows. The funny thing is, I can restart the PC just fine, after that it works as usual, I just can't shut it down. I really don't want to keep it running 24/7 nor reinstall windows every day (especially on an SSD). I already did that twice, so it's probably not a software/driver issue. I'll run a malwarebytes test just to be sure though. I think it's some sort of hardware issue, but, I have no idea how to proof, deny or fix that. That's, why I'm here. My PC: CPU: Intel Pentium G3460 RAM: 6 GB DDR3 GPU: GTX 750 Ti 2 GB SSD: ADATA SU700 240 GB (only formatted this one when installing win) HDD: 500 GB (mostly games, no other programs + some data i already backed up) MB: MSI H81-P33 PSU: Some cheap 350W PS: feel free to improve the topic title, or this problem's location on the forum
  6. It's got one from Intel - https://www.notebookcheck.net/fileadmin/_processed_/4/1/csm_MSI_Creator_wlan_1_ece6470c59.jpg We're 100% sure, even checked the device manager. The issue is more pronounced when the dedicated GPU is under load, more load >> bigger lags. For example: When CS:GO was running in 800x600 and it was quite playable. The moment we switched to FullHD, a huge lag spike occured. Also, when playing using the iGPU, both ping and FPS were actually better.
  7. Hi, I've recently moved and I am forced to use wifi instead of a wired connection. My PC doesn't have wifi, and at the moment I don't have any adapters. So I decided to use my phone (Lenovo P1m), and internet via USB. The phone is connected to a front USB 2.0 port. The connection works fine when browsing the web, however, when I'm gaming, windows often makes a sound that a device has been (dis)connected. It seems to happen in all games, maybe when the PC is busy as it happened in Far Cry 3 singleplayer as well. One game made the sound + threw the following error - WSAENETUNREACH. The signal is not the strongest (2/4 bars). The connection itself is on the slow side, but there's nothing I can do about it, the place only has a single ISP. PC Specs: CPU: Intel Pentium G3460 RAM: 6 GB DDR3 MB: MSI H81-P33 Should I get a proper adapter, or is the problem somewhere else (router, pc) ? EDIT: The disconnecting is fixed. I just pugged the phone into a rear usb port (3.0)
  8. nice, my router is showing the pc again, im booting Wish me luck boys edit: holy shit guys, it works, thank yall, have a great day.
  9. I just unplugged the whole pc from the outlet, hold on ill try that.
  10. Hi, I was trying to switch from one mouse to another while the pc was running. Plugging out the first one was fine but when I got close to that same usb port with the other mouse's usb, it made some sort of elecricity noise and the pc shut down. Now if I try to turn it on, nothing happens, no beeps, no fans, nothing. Even my router doesn't show anything physically connected to it. Right next to that port were the keyboard and my headset. Specs: Is there anything I can do or is the pc all dead? Can I at least recover my data?
  11. Damn, but why do these guides exist then? Did it work in the past or what? Also, I had another idea - can you somehow make a resolution with a custom aspect ratio (16:7 for example) set it as the monitor resolution and then use DSR? edit: My issues have been resolved. I now have a 1200x900 resolution, made using Custom resolution utility, and set a high DSR resolution for my desktop, where I can just run the game in windowed (I needed that res for recording so it's ok).
  12. Hello there, I'd like to set some custom resolutons for DSR. The problem is, they don't work at all. They're not listed anywhere. Normal DSR, set through the NVIDIA control panel, works just fine. CRU didn't work either (Out of range). I've got a 1440x900 monitor and I'm trying to set up the following resolutions: 1200x900 1920x900 1920x1080 1920x1200 2560x1200 I've already tried the following guides: http://www.deadendthrills.com/forum/discussion/504/how-to-custom-aspect-ratios-and-resolutions-via-dsr-nvidia-only/p1 https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/1085358/custom-dsr-registry-trick-doesn-t-work-anymore/ https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/940393/geforce-drivers/can-i-use-your-dsr-feature-to-display-a-1366x768-desktop-on-a-1024x768-monitor-on-windows-/post/4899134/#4899134 My PC specs: CPU: Intel Pentium G3460 RAM: 6 GB DDR3 GPU: GTX 750 Ti 2 GB (driver - 417.35) SSD: ADATA SU700 240 GB HDD: 500 GB OS: Windows 10 Pro (1803) I've attached the dsr.reg file. Thanks in advance dsr.reg
