    BIOS not recognising M.2

Hi. I have a 1TB Crucial MX500 M.2 SATA 2280SS connected to my MSI X470 GAMING M7 AC motherboard. It is put in the M.2_1 slot. However, it does not detect the M.2. Does anybody know what to do to troubleshoot this?

    Some questions on AMD overclocking...

Wait so XMP changes the BLCK? Doesn't that indirectly overclock the CPU though?
  4. Specs: CPU: Ryzen 2700x Cooler: Stock AMD Wraith Prism RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200MHz CL16 MOBO: MSI X470 Gaming M7 AC Planning to overlock my RAM since that gives huge performance boosts on AMD CPUs apparently. For the CPU however, I've done some searching and people seem to say that I should not bother overclocking the CPU since the normal boost by the chip's own algorithm (Boost Overdrive?) is good enough. Is this true? Also, should I manually overclock my RAM to the given specs of my RAM (the timings and voltage are given on the labels on the RAM) or should I be using XMP? I've also heard that XMP changes some CPU clock speeds, and if I shouldn't be overclocking the CPU, or if overclocking the CPU isn't recommended, I don't want that to happen.

Only one SSD for new desktop

I see. But it wouldn't be necessary right? I could install windows on my SSD, along with all my other games and programs in the same partition without problems? But if I wanted to partition it, what size would you recommend for the OS partition? (Windows 10 64-bit)

Only one SSD for new desktop

Hi. I am thinking of only using one 1TB SSD for my desktop. Question is: Do I need to partition my SSD to different partitions (one for Windows OS, another for personal data and files etc.), or can I just install everything together on one single partition (i.e. I don't partition my SSD at all)? My friends say that there is no point, and to just use the 1TB space as one single drive, since some programs write to the OS drive anyway even if they are installed on another partition. Need some feedback on this. Thanks!

    PSU compatibility for MOBO

Ok that's good to know. If I ever need a 2nd CPU EPS in the future, is it possible to buy one online? The PSU seems to support more than one 8 pin CPU EPS (there are 3 ports on the PSU labelled CPU/PCI-E).
  8. Hi. I am getting an MSI Gaming M7 AC motherboard, together with the Ryzen 2700x and RX 580 GPU. Bought this (CM MWE 550W 80+ Gold Fully Modular) PSU, but just noticed that it only comes with one 4+4 pin CPU cable, while the MOBO has a total of 16 pins (8+8) for the CPU. Should I return this and buy another PSU? Or am I good to go with just one 4+4 pin cable? I have read from other sites that the 2nd 8 pin CPU slot for the MOBO is unnecessary and can be used only if I am planning on OC-ing.
