  1. I also have a PCI-e USB 3.0 slot. The ones on the motherboard work fine, just like the PCI-e hub. It's just some peripherals aren't working completetly anymore since, doesn't matter what port.
  2. Hello, so last week I switched my 970 with a 980, and since I did, my mouse doesn't get recognized, my keyboard doesn't light up, my streamdeck is also not recognized and my webcam too. I've tried everything to switching the GPU again, completly resetting my PC and Windows, updating my BIOS, and trying to fix the drivers. But nothing seems to work. The only more thing that happened in that time was it being in a cold enviroment for several days. It also doens't light up etc in other computers. So I was thinking to buy a new motherboard, but I'm not sure if this will fix my problem. How can I fix this and play games again? Shall I try buying new peripherals or new components? Thanks!
  3. Thanks for the comments guys! Here's a picture from the box.
  4. Hello, my friend received his first PC parts to build a PC today, but he bought a Intel Core i7 9700K and a Gigabyte Z390 AORUS PRO motherboard. On the box of the motherboard stands *Requires eligible 8th gen Intel core i7 or i5. Is this a problem?
  5. Hello, I already have this 5.1 surround kit for a couple of time. My subwoofer is from Infinity Oreus Elan, and recently i put my stereo just a tiny bit louder than normally, and than the cracking sounds begun to appear (check audio file). Then i just turned the whole set off, en came back to it next day (today). I was listening to music again, and all the problems dissapeard. So i put the stereo a little bit louder again (not so loud the speakers get blown), and it happend again. I can just wait untill tommorow, but i really want to listen to it, because it's good! I already fixed it once myself, replacing an old switch with a new one, and i really don't want to take everything apart again. So when i am not listening to music nothing is going on, when i put music on the sound comes back untill i put the music down again. Also when i put my finger on the subwoofer output for speakers (there are no speakers connected to the subwoofer, but to the sound receiver) the sound also comes back. It doesn't come out of my 5 other speakers. So i am pretty clueless and want to know if maybe one of you guys can help me! Thanks! Cracking audio.aac
  6. Thank you so much! I already bought a Optical Cable, and it work's fine! Thanks!
  7. Thanks for commenting so quick! Why the Optical Connection and not just a regular old 3.5mm?
  8. Hello, I just got my self an older but still pricy Infinity Oreus Elan Surround Sound set to use while gaming or watching a film on my PC. I also bought a Harman Kardon AVR 330 with it, thats the audio receiver (see pictures). My question was, do I have to get a Sound Card in my PC? The set itself was really expansive, and if a $60 sound card can make the experience way better, ill do that. My motherboard is a MSI Tomahawk Z170A. The point is I can also use a 3.5mm jack, but I don't know if that would give me a good experience. Thanks!
