According to Ducky and Razer reps, you must own a Razer chroma product for your compatible devices to work.
My Ducky 7 connects but no lights turn on when using chroma connect. I don't have an official razer chroma product to plug in to try.
What I ultimately want to know is, If I plug in a Goliathus Chroma mouse mat (for example). Will it give me the full integration and effects a Razer RGB keyboard will on my Ducky?
For example, on Overwatch, a razer keyboard will change its lighting and individual keys according to game situation and character selection:
