  1. I built this a few months ago. Its my first ever build and id say it turned out really well. Specs are as follow : https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/d7QzXy Certain choices I made may seem odd but il describe them here. -RTX 3050 : I went with this card simply to be future proof. I want to keep this computer for a good 5-8 years without needing a GPU upgrade. so I spent the extra money and got an RTX card. I know the 3050 isn't as great but its all I need. (and at the time the RTX 3060 was another 200$ more) -3600mhz Memory : this one was a bit of a mistake. I originally had 4000mhz ram but when I saw the Trident Z ram I fell inlove with it. so I may or may not have gotten taken by the RGB... I know Ryzen prefers higher mhz but I have yet to notice any major issues with it. -The Space at the top of my Case : Simply put, I plan on getting a AIO at some point within the near future. just been making more money to get it. so far Ive had no issues with it overheating tho. -CPU Cooler : its on the wrong way. yes I know. I don't plan to fix it until I get my AIO. it doesn't affect anything. So far my future upgrade plans are as follows : - AIO - 32GB's of ram - Hookup the Front Fan's RGB to my motherboard (The instructions are so dumb) ALSO SORRY FOR BAD PHOTO QUALITY, its dark under my desk Thanks for reading through all this. if you have any feedback lmk
  2. For Gaming : Valorant, Sea Of Thieves, War Thunder, Rocket League, LoL, Some Games in VR For Work : Mostly Just Blender
  3. https://www.canadacomputers.com/product_info.php?cPath=710_1925_1920_1923&item_id=187791 The Laptop in question I understand the first of this is a clearance item; there's one left in a store and I'm looking into buying it within the next couple of days. I just want your opinion on weather its worth buying now or looking into a 3060-3070 system for around the same price range. I just like this model more since the display is good quality and the specs are fine for my needs... If you have any concerns, let me know. Specs Just in case you don't wanna go to the site. - Ryzen 9 4900HS - RTX 2060 Max-Q - 16gb DDR4 - 1TB SSD All for 1581.86$ CAD (without tax : 1399.88$)
  4. Its not, its solely todo with my graphic cards settings.
  5. Personally I recommend a Rival 600 from Steelseries, I have one and its ran for a good time with no problems for me. Heres what it fills : - a wired mouse: I don't like anything that needs to be charged or that operates wirelessly [Rival 600 is fully wired, not a fancy cable but its still wired, 650 isnt] - a few extra buttons (I don't play MMOs, but I do want 2-3 side buttons) [3 extra mouse side buttons all programable through software, also 1 mouse DPI Switch] - solid construction and the ability to take apart and repair [Sides come off and for the most part its not made with cheap materials] - a power cable that can be unplugged on both ends! (not hard-wired) [Both ends come off, the mouse side is alot stiffer but it wont fall out mid match] - something heavy and big. My G203 is actually too small for my hand. [Has adjustable weights and is already 96g out of the box and goes upto 128g] - some kind of DPI customization (not a big deal) [100-12000 Range] - I don't care about RGB lighting, but if there is RGB, the ability to turn it off or tone is down. [Lights aint overdemanding but they can be switched off and dimmed] Link to the website here https://steelseries.com/gaming-mice/rival-600
  6. Ive delt with this issue for about a year now and im sick of it, Here's the whole story Plugged my computer into a tv once, screen freaked out and so I unplugged it, now its permanently been yellow whenever it runs on it graphic card. Windows color management is only helpful in certain games like Valorant and Sea Of Thieves for making my screen the correct color, but in other games like Payday 2 is fights my settings and refuses to change it to anywhere near a normal screen color, so I either play it in a piss yellow color or just pick another game. ANY and I mean ANY ideas to fix this will be helpful - GTX 1050 (Laptop Variant) - Vega 8 (Ryzen 5 3500u)
  7. So im looking into this laptop since I still need portability, I currently use a Big ol Asus 570dd with a 15.6 inch display, its fine but I also need more power for some games and rendering in blender. Tbh the RTX is overkill for me but id rather be safe for the next couple of years then be stuck with a 1660s. Essentially looking for a portable computer that can play games like Apex, War Thunder, DCS World, OW, Mirrors Edge etc.. (ik very random variety but idc) and still be portable for work since il be heading off to school soon. Budget was around 2000$ including the 13% tax (Damn CAD). So what do you think of this laptop? https://www.canadacomputers.com/product_info.php?cPath=710_1925_1920_1922&item_id=200960 Solid buy or should I look into something else...
  8. This plan is currently the fastest we can get in our area, Bell said that we would be getting 25 Megabytes per second normally for 350gb of usage, then it would drop down to 15 Megabytes per second for unlimited. These are all previous speed tests done during the day and night. I think our only option is to suffer until Starlink hits our area, or pester Bell about it 24/7
  9. 22 Megabits per second High, 5 Megabits per second low.
  10. Personally my laptop is running wired which is why its getting 22Mbps rn during the day it drops down to 5Mbps, Wireless gets around 5Mbps in the daytime when most people are on. The ISP provided router doesn't support much flexibility options with Channels and such. I also know that more people on the internet does slow it down but it shouldn't be dropping from 22 to 5.
  11. Pretty much everyone in our family is off rn, thats why. Normally its around 5Mbps during the day.
  12. Ones in Megabytes per second, Ones in Megabits per second. Still could also be alot of load on the single router, we did look into trying out a cheaper Mesh Wifi System to see if it had any effect.
  13. We just got the Modem replaced 3 days ago when we called bell about it. They claim a firmware update was the issue.
  14. Il see if there in our area, were located in Ontario Canada.
