  1. I'm losing hyper threading right with the I7 right? That's a big reason I like the I9. I can't find the 2080ti at that price, only 1350$ plus. I shouldn't have put the case in the price as it's already purchased and not part of the total price cap. Love the storage suggestions though. "Meh" could you elaborate a bit? I just dont want to wish I had gone bigger for the monitor.
  2. What monitor then? 32" is the biggest I need (not much room to scoot back where my desk is)
  3. I totally agree so I splurged everywhere else. I probably should've added that and I'll be getting bonuses from work now so adding on later wont be difficult financially.
  4. https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Touzen/saved/M3vJ8d That is what I think I'm going to buy. I build dream PC's all the time online but haven't had the courage to pull the trigger so you input is really appreciated. My wife surprised me and already bought the case to get me going on this dream as I've been wanting to do this for a while. She wanted to help more but doesn't find computers interesting at all. Budget is no more than $3.6k usd, 80% gaming (gatv, bf5, tomb raider and WOW), 8% YOUTUBE (I will probably just switch to my tv or phone to do this) and 2% photo editing for messing around. Going for 1440p at 100+ hz gaming beast that looks cool too. I love rgb and Intend to overclock this. I want something that will last and be reasonable to upgrade in the future. Yes the power supply is over kill but I've found no reason to worry about $40 at this point. I've seen nothing helping or hurting my choice of monitor but I'm not in love, ya know? I'm very trusting of Intel so AMD is out of the question. Thoughts, concerns and suggestions are greatly appreciated.
  5. I am from the US and my budget is $2800. My first build was a nightmare due to incompatibility and missing components (adapters and extensions) so I'm trying to avoid that as much as possible. I'm building this for gaming (BFV, WOW, Overwatch and FUTURE GAMES), photo editing, and streaming. I need no monitors or peripherals so all expenses are just for the tower. I'm upgrading because my last build is 7 years old and it can game but on low settings and that's it. I love RGB and like liquid cooling, unless convinced otherwise (I will be in a smaller room that is kinda warm 80 degrees F) I game anywhere from 1-5hours at a time. I want it to be over the top and be able to handle stuff now and in the future. This is my first build in a long time so I'd like it to be...not terribly difficult ya know? Any suggestions are welcome and appreciated and add-ons for cable management, adapters, fan controllers, adapters, extra RGB (or things of that nature) would be greatly appreciated as I'd like to order everything at once and be ready to build as fast as reasonably possible. Someone told me about an NVME drive and I'm not sure about what that is at all. Parts picker says The motherboard M.2 slot #1 shares bandwidth with a SATA 6.0 Gb/s port. When the M.2 slot is populated, one SATA 6.0 Gb/s port is disabled. How do I fix that? Is it terrible even though it says all of my parts are compatible? This is my build https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Touzen/saved/s4Xr6h
  6. https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Touzen/saved/qKmTBm Any suggestions or concerns? My budget is $3000 firm. I need no peripherals. I love rgb but am unsure of how to make it all sync. I want to have space to upgrade later. I'm using this for mainly gaming' streaming and video/photo editing. I want this to be as powerful as I can make it for the price. I play wow, overwatch, BFV but want to make sure it keeps up with future games as well as can be expected. Thanks in advanced. https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Touzen/saved/qKmTBm
