I have an old Dell precision t7500 I have 6 stickes of ddr3 10600r 2gb and when I put all the memory but dimm 3 or dimm 6 the system runs fine full triple channel and all but when I but the other dimm in all hell breaks lose the bios spits out an error "memory error at dimm 3" can someone help

For any one who is interested i found a way to cheese windows to let me use them as dynamic disks steps 1- make two iscsi targets with each vhd 2 connect to them using the same pc done you can stripe span or mirror any two vhds hope this helps someone

the question is do you really need all the m.2 speed

if the seller say its m.2 nvme only then its nvme only and if you want m.sata ask the seller first

i know maybe not the right fourm. but i have a problem i have two hdd's in an old machine sadly i cant raid them because not the same capacity but i have a question. if you cant raid two partitions on different disks what if two virtual hard drives on two different disks i tried it in vm worked perfectly got a lot more random read and write speeds to the point where it was 20 times better almost now to the question i downloaded daemon tools and mounted two vhds but windows didn't want to make them dynamic disks so can any one please tell me if its possible to mount two vhds to my machine make them dynamic then stripe them and if possible what program can i use (ps. if any one wants to see the numbers the vm or any thing please just ask) Bs.Bs. i used vmware workstation player 15

@emosunit's not the price or the type it's that it's not available where I am and the online shopping is no option because the shipping price surpasses the ram price and we here have high import fee's so I am limited to what I have

@emosuni am sorry If I was rude. I am just asking if any one knows a bios mod or something because the t5500 has almost the same board and chipset but still it supports non-ecc memory

@emosun no its not. it's an old decommissioned workstation that found another live as a gaming pc it's almost as a old as I am so if you have something useful to say. say it or else please leave me alone it's what I have and it's in my eye the best pc that the money could get in my budget

I got a t7500 workstation that has 2 1333 2gb ecc reg sticks it doesn't allow booting with any thing but ecc memory how can I use non-ecc memory sticks note "5520 chipset support non ecc ram the cpu supports non ecc ram but the motherboard still halts the system from booting with non-ecc memory"

hi so i recently bought a Dell precision t7500 with an e5640 cpu and four gigs ddr3 1333 ecc reg memory (2x2 in slots 1 and 3) my question is I am looking for ram and found 8 gig stick for good price (ecc reg too) so 1 will it work 2 in which slot 3 can it run with the 2 2gb sticks in triple channel

Last quistions i am considering w3570 or w3680 are the two cores from th w3680 gona give me very big edge in the games

Hello I am not exactly new here but just have some quistions a little back story I am a gamer who will buy a new case in a few days I am buying a used dell t7500 workstation and have a few quistions about it can someone help 1 ) I already have a kit of 4gig ddr3 1333 (2+2) but it's non ecc can it use them or not 2 ) can u run 2 hdds in raid mode without formatting the two of them
