  1. Thank you all for your suggestions i will probability end up getting a 1200 unless i find a decently priced 1600. on a side note for a motherboard something like this asrock b450m pro 4 https://www.amazon.com/ASRock-B450M-PRO4-F-Promontory-Motherboard/dp/B07QXNJHV8/ref=sr_1_6?crid=3E383TV3UGDBH&keywords=asrock+pro4+b450&qid=1567270170&s=gateway&sprefix=ASrock+Pro4+b%2Caps%2C169&sr=8-6 is this a good choice for future upgrade-ability
  2. So i am updating my rig and i have been looking at what cpu to get. now i dont have the best budget and so i was thinking of the 2200g(79.99) or the ryzen 3 1200(59.99) is the 2200g worth it over the 1200 or would i be better off buying a used say ryzen 5 1600. (keep in mind any of these are better then my current cpu which is a fx 6300...yeah)
  3. i have tried a few bios and tbh its dead in someway and if its not then its not worth fixing it for me. it was free anyway ?
  4. what would you recommend then for a bios? like a founder edition bios? cause i think the turbo has a reference pcb just like the founders edition.
  5. or something bios related that honestly is too much to work on
  6. i just did that same results and same error code 43 from windows device manager i am going to try a diffrent driver and maybe another bios but... seems dead
  7. idk if its a nvflash thing or the card or the bios roms but everyone i have tried from tech power up dosent work right and ends up makeing it show this: but with a different bios versions and dosnt matter if it has geforce drivers its the same result no specified amount of ram or the clock speed of the memory or gpu clock speed
  8. I need a non modified stock bios for a Asus gtx 1060 6gb turbo (this card had a mining bios and needs a fresh start)
  9. i did a bios flash for the card but shouldn't it show the memory size and the clock speeds?
  10. doing a gpuz on the card gives me this
  11. Ok i did this and the gpu did the same as before but going in with the igpu and having the card installed shows this so the card is there now and the error is this now should i install drivers now? also i do belive that this card was posabily flashed with a mining bios and if driver are going to yeld the same results what should i do about that
  12. ok this gpu is prob dead but i am trying to revive it just in case (it was a minig card that was free). its a Asus gtx 1060 6gb turbo the fan works and gpu light on the side dose come on and seems to be fine, but useing the card showes no signal for a while and seems to not allow the system to get to bios but after a bit it will boot and get to what i think is the windows sign in and the no signal will go away but then show nothing but black screen. then useing integrated graphics and booting with the card in it is fine but in device manager the gpu is not detected by windows. p.s. the pci expresses 16x slot is not broken/not working i use my 1050ti in it and it works just fine thanks for any help/tips on this i hope someone can help me get this card working
