  1. thanks for the reply mate.. i will look into these softwares. nothing in particular.. just want to try different OS, play around.. hehe.. currently have vmware workstation installed with windows 10 and windows 8 embedded, much better than virtual box, and faster graphics with 2gb max allocation..
  2. this is my Afterburner settings for my r9 390.. core 1200 mem 1600 vcore +25 how do i translate the +25 vcore to this bios.. i think the r9 390 does not work in offset mode. im stuck here.
  3. can anyone help me find a bios editor for the r9 300 series gpu. i have already finished modding (overclock) the bios of my rx570 and was successful. i liked it very much as i dont have to rely on afterburner to apply the settings for my overclock. now i want to do it also to my r9 390, but cant seem to find a bios editor for it.. please help..
  4. hi guys, i need your help.. what is the best VM software (free or paid) in terms of performance relative to a physical machine. i have tried VM VIRTUALBOX but graphics performance is not good, even dragging windows around will show tearing. its like a graphics driver is not installed or the physical gpu is not utilized.. is there a need to install a driver for the physical gpu inside the virtual machine? i just want to try out virtualization coz i have seen LTT's video on it.. im on windows 7 64 by the way
  5. have you tried switching off HPET? in bios or in windows
  6. was able to lower the tRas to 32.. but the 17 wont go down to 16 anymore.. at 3200mhz.
  7. i dont actually have system load issues.. but if theres anything i could do to squeeze even just a tiny bit if performance out of it and it costs nothing, just like overclocking, something for nothing.. there are many posts online also suggesting that HPET causes game issues, and some say that disabling it gains a few FPS..
  8. if i could turn something off and not affect the functionality of the system, i turn it off. maybe gain some performance by doing so.. maybe it could reduce system load..
  9. msi x470 gaming plus wont POST on restart with HPET=OFF.. it will POST however from an "OFF" state. like when you shut it down, then power it on.. any workarounds? i want to disable HPET from bios not from within windows. however at the moment, i just disabled HPET in windows.
  10. this is the max timing it can handle at 3200mhz.. even at 1.4v.. so i backed it down to 1.36v..
  11. thanks for the reply.. i have been using this setting (14-16-17-36) for a month now and its stable at 1.36v.. but sometimes the thought of overclocking the speed comes to mind.. thats why i tried the 3400mhz with the same voltage, but it wont run at the lower timings without increasing the voltage. didnt want to increase voltage since i want these components to last 4 to 5 years. even my ryzen 7 2700 is just 1.2v at 3800mhz.. any higher i would have to increase voltage significantly..
  12. CORSAIR vengeance rgb 3200 which SETTING should i choose? these have the same stock voltages.. 3400mhz 1618-18-36 3200mhz 14-16-17-36
