  1. hi all, trying to connect my PC to an LG Smart TV, i will be passing the audio from the TV through to my a/v receiver via Toslink, is there any way for the computer to pick up if the tv is having its audio passed through so it can pick up that 5.1 is supported?
  2. Hi all, I'm using a self built desktop as a HTPC (Pentium G4560, GTX950, 8GB RAM, B250M Pro4). i have my PC Connected to an LG TV Via HDMI, and then the TV is having its audio passed through to a JVC RX-E5 Home cinema control center via the 3.5 mm Audio Jack in the rear of the TV. PC --> TV --> Amp/Control Center --> Speakers when using the TV Normally, i am able to get 5.1 Surround sound properly, but when on the PC, I'm only able to get Stereo output. i have a feeling this is to do with the EDID of the LG TV. yet when plugging directly into the amp from the PC using that same adapter im able to select 5.1 and even 7.1. is there any way to bypass the EDID and allow for the PC to see that the audio is being passed on through the TV? because the PC is seeing the two speakers and only giving stereo, even when the audio is passed through too. also have a PS3 Connected to the same TV and that plays out 5.1 audio perfectly.
  3. i find that weird, seeing both XMP and the EZDOT overclocking suff will let me do 3600
  4. Hey all, having problems with the 2 x 8GB set of ADATA Spectrix D60G RAM, paired with an X470 aorus ultra and an r5 2600, i can get 3200mhz with XMP Profile 2, but cant get the advertised 3600, everything AFAIK is updated, all i get after setting XMP Profile 1 is a couple of power cycles that happen even before i get to POST, and then i boot into windows rocking 2666, not the advertised 3600. unsure of what to do next.

  8. hey all, at the moment i am running a 1070 G1 Gaming alongside a ryzen 5 2600, and i have an old gtx950 dual windforce lying around that i was wanting to put back into the system. my question is that when i place the card in and hook it up to power, i am able to boot and post, but i never get a windows sign in screen, all i get is a black backlit screen and if i move the mouse the cursor appears. can someone help me out here in finding a solution?

Hi all,i have the dreaded problem of this: the whell has been acting weird for a bit now, as with some games the lock wouldnt work when set to something other than 900 degrees. all drivers were set correctly and i uninstalled the profiler. now the problem is the profiler wont actually install. all it will do is say it installed but the logitech gaming software window (the second one) that detects the wheel and installs the drivers wont show up. its like it rushes through the install.im racking my brains on this and ive got no idea what to do, i need help. any would be amazing
  11. hi all, with powerline wifi do i need to have them on the same circuit? or does having the ground connected to both circuits let it work better?
  12. ohhhhh i see. okay. then yeah this is solved any idea as to why it does that as when i installed the 950 it booted straight away?
  13. i realise the cpu will bottleneck, but i am in progress of upgrading as i get the chance, this was a work colleagues brother and the chance came so i jumped at it. good news though, with no explanation i left the card in with previous NVidia drivers installed, for about a minute and it displayed picture, for no apparent reason it started working and the fans stopped as they should. because up until that point they hadnt stopped. i have tried multiple restarts and for no apparent reason it is working fine. it posts and displays output straight from the get go
  14. Im running a pentium G4560 and a GTX950 Windforce. i hve just bought a second hand GTX1070 G1 8GB from gigabyte. when installed, the card shows no output, and doesnt seem to post either. i have flashed bios using ASROCKS internet flash option to the latest revision. MOBO: ASROCK B250M Pro4 GPU: OLD: Gigabyte GTX950 Dual Windforce 2X NEW: Gigabyte GTX1070 G1 Gaming 8GB OC CPU: Pentium G4560 RAM: 8GB DDR4-2133 PSU: Thermaltake 600W PSU i have enabled PCIE APSM Support as seen on an EVGA Forum with a 1070, will test. Any help is appreciated, this is the first part swap ive done since i built the system nigh on a year and a half ago.
