  1. Thank you all for your replies. I don't know yet if I am going to buy the Samsung CJG50 because as I've seen from reviews, like 3 out of 5 models come with burnt pixels. Also I've found this monitor : https://www.amazon.com/AOC-CQ32G1-Frameless-2560x1440-DisplayPort/dp/B07HKM16DT/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=aoc+cq32g1&qid=1576592864&sr=8-1 31,5'', 1440p 144hz 1ms response time and freesync! Seems like a great value and I would really appreciate if you could tell me your opinion about it. As for the monitors you recommended to me, all seem like great values (the video was helpful too), but unfortunately none of these monitors are available in my country.
  2. Hello everyone! So, I will be using a 5700xt red devil along with a ryzen 5 3600 for 1440p 144hz gaming. The monitor for this setup will be a Samsung CJG50, 27" . I've seen from reviews that its a pretty good monitor considering it only costs 270$. However, the monitor doesn't have freesync or g-sync (I guess that's what keeps its price so low). Will this be a problem ? Will this cause screen-tearing? Thank you!
  3. So let's say I use the 2600x and 5700xt to play games like Witcher 3, Far cry 5 etc. Will the cpu bottleneck my gpu? What if I overclock the cpu a bit?
  4. Hello everyone! I bought a ryzen 5 2600x for my gaming pc and I will be pairing it wil a 5700xt red devil, to play AAA games in 1440p 144hz. The 2600x costed 125 euros and the 3600 costs 190. Did I do the right choice? It seems like there is a big price difference between the 2600x and the 3600. Is it worth spending more money and getting the 3600? Thank you !
  5. Guys I found two versions of the rtx 2060 super. First one is the zotac mini model and the other one is the msi ventus. What do you think? Is the 2060 super a good value for 1440p 144hz?
  6. So, if I go for a duel or triple fan rx 5700xt model, those cost around 470 euros here (way more expensive than the rtx 2060). That's like 100 euros more. Is it worth it to pay that amount for 1440p? Can the rtx 2060 handle 1440p?
  7. By custom you mean those duel/triple fan models? Are the blower models good? Seems like any non-blower model is much more expensive than the blower ones. Also, will the cpu bottleneck the rx 5700xt?
  8. Hello everyone! I'm going to build a gaming pc to play games in 1440p resolution 144hz. My cpu will be a Ryzen 5 2600, 16gb ram 3200mhz and for the gpu I'm thinking of buying either the rtx 2060 or the rx 5700xt. The rtx 2060 costs 370 euros (msi gaming z) and the rx 5700xt costs 410 euros (gigabyte model). In reviews I have also seen that the vega 56 is very good for 1440p , very similar to the rtx 2060 in performance. How is that possible if the rtx 2060 is clocked at 1700mhz and the vega 56 at 1200-1500mhz? Which card should I buy for 1440p 144hz? Thank you !
  9. Alright I see what you mean. I'm probably going to buy the 1080p 240hz since I don't have the money to afford a decent 1440p card. Thanks for your replies
  10. Do you really need to be able to hit 240fps to see the 240hz difference? I looked it up and some say you do, some say you don't. Yeah overall the 1440p monitor is a much better deal since you can also lower the resolution in FPS games. As for the games I'm going to play: Apex Legends, Battlefield, Far Cry and more AAA titles. However, I don't want to stress my rtx 2060 or gtx 1660ti (depends on which one I buy). 2060 is great for 1080p but okay at 1440p. Thanks for your replies guys
  11. Unfortunately its not available in my country. I've read that the model I have listed supports g-sync too.
  12. Hello everyone! I'm looking for a 1080p monitor for my new gaming pc build coming in summer. I was looking at the Dell Alienware AW2518F. Its a 25'' monitor, 1080p and 240hz. I was wondering if its worth it considering it costs around 350 euros here. Also is there actually a difference between 144hz and 240hz? I have never tried playing at 144hz but 240hz was an amazing feeling for me. I will also be pairing the monitor with a 1660ti or even an rtx 2060. Can these two cards run smoothly at 1440p? If yes then I could also but the samsung cjg50, a 27'' curved monitor, 1440p and 144hz Thank you !
  13. Thank you all for replying ! Well, an IPS monitor is a lot more expensive here in Greece and I don't think I can afford anything over 300€. The cheapest IPS monitor I can find costs 384€. I don't think I will have any problems with a VA panel since the colors are still very good , compared to a TN. Do you know any good 144hz 1080p monitor you can suggest to me?
  14. Hello guys, I'm looking for a gaming monitor for my first gaming pc that I'm going to build in May and I was wondering if curved monitors are good, or if they are worth the price. Are they for gaming? I want a gaming monitor for 1080p 144hz gaming anywhere from 24 to 27 inches under 300$. If you have any good suggestions I would highly appreciate it ! Here are some that I have found but I need your advice because I don't know much about monitors : a) Viewsonic VX2758-C-mh (curved 27'' 240€) b) AOC C27G1 (curved 27'' 250€) c) MSI Optix MAG271C ( curved 27'' 300€) d) Acer Predator XB240H (flat 24''-240€) Thank you all !
  15. It costs 100$ right now so its expensive for me. If I find it for 80$ as you say, I will probably buy it. Do you have a specific redragon keyboard in mind?
  16. Hello guys, I need to find a good mechanical full sized keyboard, with rgb if possible for around 80$ and a gaming mouse for around 30$. I was thinking about getting the motospeed ck98 or the cooler master ck550. Personally I like the look of the motospeed one more, but I dont know if motospeed is a trustworthy company. Also I would really like if you could give me any mice suggestions. Keep in mind that my hands are kinda big so a small mouse will not be comfortable. Thanks!
  17. Thanks to everyone who commented. I didn't even know that there was a Freezer 34. I did a research on it and saw a few reviews and looks like a very good cpu cooler and I'm going to buy it, since I'm paying only 5 euro more for an extra fan and lower temperatures. Well, the h500 comes without a tempered glass, and its 15 euro more expensive here in Greece. I love how the H500P looks but its too expensive right now. Also, none of these cases provide as good cable management as the meshify c does. Good choices tho. Should I go with a 500gb ssd? thats 30 euro more. I could save another 30 and go for an rtx 2060. That's a huge FPS difference. I don't think the 580 is a better value at the moment, considering that the 1660 ti is sligtly better than a 1070. As for the resolution, I will be playing on 1080p 144hz , yes. The monitor you suggested looks like a good choice. I was thinking about getting either the AOC C24G1 or the Acer Predator XB240H
  18. Hello guys! So after a lot of research, I will build this pc in April: case- Fractal Design meshify C cpu- Ryzen 5 2600 mobo- B450 msi tomahawk gpu- 1660ti MSI GAMING X ram- G.Skill Trident Z 16gb 3200mhz hdd- 1 tb Barracuda ssd- Kingston UV500 240GB cpu cooler- Arctic Freezer 33 esports ONE extra fans- 3x deepcool rf 120mm psu- Seasonic focus plus 550w gold This pc will be used for 1080p 144z gaming, playing games like Far Cry, Battlefield, Witcher 3, Tomb Raider etc. a) Is this a good gaming pc for 1080p? Can it be used for 1440p too or is it a bit too much? b) Should I change anything for something better? Thanks!
  19. Hello everyone! I am going to build a gaming pc in April. These will be the parts: case- Fractal Design meshify c cpu- Ryzen 5 2600 mobo- B450 MSI tomahawk gpu- MSI 1660ti GAMING X ram- G.Skill Trident Z 16gb 3200mhz hdd- 2tb Barracuda ssd- Kingston UV500 240gb cpu cooler- Arctic Freezer 33 esports ONE I will be also adding 3 deepcool rf 120 fans a) Now , as for the psu , Im thinking of buying either the Seasonic focus plus 650w gold (95 euro) or the Corsair CX Series CX650M (75 euro). I know that seasonic makes very good power supplies and overall the reviews on the focus plus series are very good, but is it worth it the 20 euro more than the corsair one? Or should I just stick to the CX650M and save 20 euro? A b) Do I really need 650watts for this pc? keep in mind that I may make an upgrade in the near future. Thank you!
  20. Hello Hister! Thanks a ton for your reply. Informative and very helpful indeed. Didn't expect you to have problems with the gpu temperatures since as I had seen from reviews, the temperatures of the cpu were high and not the gpu. As much as I loved the nzxt h500 because of its look, I didn't buy it because I highly prefer cooler temperatures than a good looking pc. The Meshify C is an absolutely amazing case. As TVwazhere said, it's one of the best ( if not the best) case for airflow. I also got used to the mesh front panel and now I love it! The best part was the cable management of course. It was my first ever pc build so that helped me a lot .
  21. ryzen 5 2600 for my cpu. I will be playing games like Far Cry 5, Battlefield V, Witcher 3 etc. Resolution will be 1080p 144hz. I dont want to go for 1440p , because firstly I cant really afford it right now and secondly, it will kill my fps in most games. Thanks for your reply!
  22. Hello everyone! So, the rtx 2060 is finally released and i want to buy either the msi gaming Z version or the asus rog strix one. First of all which one should i buy? Now, im going to build my pc in May. Should I buy the card now since it also comes with a Battlefield V or Anthem code (I will save some money since I won't need to buy the game separately) , or just wait until I have all the money for the build? The card's price is kinda okay now considering what its offering in terms of gaming. I'm afraid that if I wait until May, the price will increase (I will also not have the ability to get the free code for battlefield). Thank you!
