  1. So, I'm looking to buy a new laptop for around 1.5 Lakh INR (~1800 USD) in July, I want it to have decent gaming performance. I've heard a lot of good things about the Zephyrus G15. Currently I'm looking at :

    ASUS ROG Zephyrus G15(2022), 15.6" (39.62 cms) 2K WQHD 240Hz/3ms, AMD Ryzen 7 6800HS, 6GB RTX 3060, Gaming Laptop (16GB/1TB SSD/90WHrs Battery/Windows 11/Office 2021/Gray/1.9 Kg), GA503RM-LN143WS Link

The monitor seems pretty good for content consumption and the CPU looks really good. I'm worried about the GPU tho, would a 6GB 3060 be good for gaming for a long time? I mostly play FPS but also some RPGs.

  2. I live in India, and just finished my Uni and came back home, I was looking to buy a new monitor for my Omen 15. I want a 27 inch display with at least 120Hz refresh rate. I'm okay with FHD, and my budget is around 20K INR. Samsung Odyssey G5 is just out of my price range. I was looking at this LG Ultragear, what do you guys think?

Why's that? They usually offer more for less.

Also, list your requirements. Would you exchange an amoled screen for a faster chipelset etc etc.

For one, the privacy concerns raised in the recent past.

And the aggression on India-China border. I recommend people chinese phones all the time, when they want bang for the buck performance, but I personally don't wanna buy it for myself.

  4. Both the phones are priced equally on Amazon right now, and I'm really confused between them. While LG G7+ is a 2 year old phone, it's still a flagship and has better SoC on it. But I'm really sceptical about how long the software support will last. Samsung A51 is just perfect with a bigger battery, Amoled screen, (although Lg has better resolution), and other bells and whistles(like samsung pay and stuff), but the SoC is weaker and the reviews say it's fingerprint reader is not good too.  Even samsung's software support is not very good, but it may be supported long just coz it's new.

I really can't decide, please help.

Or suggest some other ones in the similar price range, around  25000 or 330USD.

Anything except chinese brands, if possible.

  5. My Mi Box S was delivered today. I set it up and everything was fine during that time I even streamed a few videos. (This was in the afternoon.) Now in the evening, I wanted to watch YouTube so I opened the app, it would not open and said WiFi not connected. So I opened network settings the WiFi connected on it's own, I came back to YT app it said the same thing again. Every time I open network settings, the page is empty it takes a second to refresh the available networks and connects to my router. I tried connecting to a couple mobile hotspot, the problem persists. In the hotspot settings on my phone it shows that the box is disconnecting and reconnecting again and again. I tried factory resetting it, the problem's still there. Any Idea how I can fix this?

    Mi Box S

    Android 8.1.0

    Build: OPM1.171019.011.588

    Oneplus of course.

No chance, a Midrange beats a Flaggship.

Why would you miss the headphone Jack? Oneplus 6T has a USB C -> 3.5mm Adapter included. There is nothing to miss out (btw: i am someone, who uses ONLY wired headphones, and would never use wireless trash).

You actually need at least a Samsung Galaxy S9+ to beat a Oneplus 6T.

    And A9's Quad-camera setup?

To start: remember that you're only going to get major updates for a maximum of two years because you're using Android.

Of the two, I'd go for a OnePlus 6T.  It has faster hardware, the interface itself is faster, and you won't wait six months to get an OS revision.  You probably won't miss having a native headphone jack unless you insist on listening while you charge.  When I was using wired audio with my iPhone I just left the adapter attached to my headphones, plugged it in and stopped worrying about it.

    Thanks

  8. Hey guys, I have a Samsung C9 Pro right now and wanted to get a new phone. I will have to keep the next phone atleast for 3 years. Which do I go for? Software updates are a big deal for me. And I don't know if I'm gonna miss the earphone jack if I go for 6t. The only gaming I do on my phone is Steam LInk(atleast for now) Which do you guys recommend?

Any preference on weight and battery life? Need Quadro?

I don't mind a bulky system, I'll use it as a desktop replacement in my hostel. Same for battery life, don't need much, and don't needs l Quadro, can use lab workstation for intensive work. And is 1050ti still gonna be good for coming years or should I increase my budget?
