GabeThePCHelper got a reaction from LukeSavenije in Snapdragon 730, 730g and 665 release
Ah okay, any idea why they're just releasing lower editions? Just for Phone manufactures to be able to produce Mid-High level phones?

GabeThePCHelper got a reaction from Ayush007 in Life span
Too many variables to control and test to determine how long it would run, the chance of you spilling a drink into your PC and frying it, dropping it, power surge, theres too many to list.

That would be more than enough, especially that 80+ gold rating.

GabeThePCHelper got a reaction from Results45 in The Intel Compute Stick & Compute Card
The biggest thing I see wrong here is that once Intel decided to pour money and R&D time into this, phones will still be evolving to get faster, Snapdragon is already developing new chips to easily outperform these items of tech. Intel has probably missed the ball on this like GoodBytes said if they dropped this in the 2000's, it would be a much easier thing to do.
It does sound like a cool idea, just imagine having a card roughly the size of a credit card and it had some onboard storage and you just plug it into different systems throughout the day, loading all of your preferred hotkeys and binds and your programs.

Check writeback cache. If its disabled, enable it, if it's enabled, disable it. See if that helps.

Gigabyte Aorus Pro:

Good VRM. ALC 1200 audio. Good supply of USB 3.1 headers/ports. SLI capable.

I've never heard of a witch mousepad... I would assume a witch could use the same mouse pad us mere mortals use.

Maybe if they have 4 DIMM slots, and they're just using dual channel, and they want more M.2 space, or if their board doesn't even have m.2 slots.

GabeThePCHelper reacted to TigerHawk in Google hit with €1.5bn fine from EU over advertising
Well, after reading the article it seems like their adsense contracts are pretty BS and basically prevent anyone from putting up a competitor's ad on your site, or if you do, google gets to decide how its displayed. Pretty damn shady.
To be fair though, and that guy, google is just the better search engine anyways. Maybe if you want yours to get popular you should try not making it shit? Google still has the cleanest search engine interface. Nothing but a plain white page with their name(usually in fancy dress for special occassions) and a text box. Not all this crap cluttering your screen like yahoo, etc with news about which celebrity is shagging who or what stupid crap x world leader has done now.

GabeThePCHelper got a reaction from RAM555789 in EVGA GTX 1070 ti underperforming
>Bottleneck man
Your non-K processor is having trouble with the 1070ti, and since the 1070 is a less of a bottleneck it could be helping performance. It could even be your ram, since you're only running 8gb's of the stuff.

GabeThePCHelper reacted to tgiDylan in Best GPU upgrade from a 1050ti?
Hi,
I have recently built a new system (apart from GPU)
Specs;
i5 9600k
STRIX z390 H gaming
Gigabyte 1050 TI 4gb
16gb HyperX 2666Mhz
It won't be until the summer that i upgrade my GPU but i was just wondering on some tips on what would be best to upgrade to when the time comes.
Was thinking a 2070 but then the 1660ti came out which leads me to believe more 16 series cards could be coming out this year?
Anyway, any pointers and tips would be great. Thanks

Let us know when you're ready to upgrade. Any advice we give now would likely be inaccurate in a few months.

Depends on u r budget ..(definition differs from person to person)
if high go for 2070
mid go for 2060
a bit low then go for 1660ti
at the least .. go for rx 580
anything lower than this will suck

As of right now, the most sensible option would be a used 1080, or a new 2070 if you want something new. But who knows, maybe AMD will get off their ass and drop something good by the time you're ready to upgrade.

Well how likely are new gpu (considering his cpu isn’t bottlenecked ) gonna hit the market ...yh except for navi later this year.

I'd recommend a 1060 6gb, a used 1070/1070ti.
You also may want to just hold off on upgrading since some of the new GPU's are going to be dropping this year.
If you don't need RTX, don't bother with those cards. Even though the 2070 does produce good framerates.
(forgot to mention the 1660TI.)

GabeThePCHelper reacted to Hiya! in Deepcool OR cooler master?
NOCTUA
Kidding...If you have the money choose Corsair or Nzxt their fans and Software is easier to use..but between those 2 i'd choose the CM.
Deepcool is kinda budget oriented manufacturer imo..they make decent fans and cooling system and thats about it.

GabeThePCHelper reacted to Justinzonfire in Deepcool OR cooler master?
It's okay, pretty shit if you ask me, but I messed with it once in a blue moon and that's about it! I imagine deep cool wont be good either. When you buy corsair fans, you pay for the best UI out there and great cooling and colors. I prefer Corsair and their super expensive fans, but didnt have the cash.

GabeThePCHelper reacted to Justinzonfire in Deepcool OR cooler master?
I have Coolermaster fans and my CPU stays pretty cool, but its also on a 360MM AIO. More Importantly of my airflow, my GPU card stays pretty cool too. I have not tried DeepCool but I've had good luck with the Coolermaster fans

Hi everyone, I am choosing between the Deepcool cf120 and cooler master masterfan mf120r argb.
they are at the same price right now in my local store but I dont know which one is better.
Do you guys have any idea? What about the software I will use to control them? Which brand has a better software?
Thanks

GabeThePCHelper got a reaction from Dedayog in What GPU should I buy?
I'm in agreement. 1660 TI or 2060, if you don't need the extra features of RTX, go for the 1660 TI, if you need those extra RT cores, get the 2060.
