GabeThePCHelper got a reaction from CuriousBro in Hide from the internet?
Theres little to no chance that you'll get removed/scrubbed from the internet like @jstudrawasaid. Sadly that's just how the internet works, once it's out there it's pretty much permanent.

It's a motherboard form factor. Usually dual cpu boards

GabeThePCHelper got a reaction from 5x5 in Is this PSU "decent"
Truth to that. Even sometimes their 'better' quality stuff fails, I bought a 750w 80+ Gold PSU and it just up and failed about a day after finally getting it working.

Contact AMD customer support, tell them your CPU and motherboard, and ask them for the free boot kit they offer. Also, make sure to quote people are use @5x5 so people see your responses

Real men learn to use what they have rather than seeking what they do not need.
BTW this is better suited as a Status Update rather creating a topic over.

Buy a GT 1030.That is true man status.

GabeThePCHelper got a reaction from jerubedo in PC For Dad $800
The case I thought wouldn't be too bad of a choice because this is a budget build, and really he didn't specify superbly on TG, RGB and the sorts. I was just trying to make something up that would look decent and would perform well. I like this build, and kind of forgot about the i5-9400F.

speed is the point. I mean my 1060 6gb laptop can do RT, just takes a whole night for a single 4K frame.

GabeThePCHelper got a reaction from JorenBus in I will be getting a company smartphone (iPhone X), what will my company be able to track on my smartphone?
Keep work and home separate, it would be annoying to receive both personal and work calls through one phone, and plus you want to keep your privacy.

GabeThePCHelper got a reaction from DenvilX in CAD Mini ITX workstation: i7- 8700 vs 8700K vs 9700K
I would stick with 8th gen. 9th gen chips would normally require at least a Z390 board.
I would go with the B360-I, I don't know what the H310 is, but the B360 is something I know.

Yep. If you're just doing modeling and no rendering, the 8700 would be your best option because it has the performance that would get what you need done.

Go b360-i and get the 8700. If you don't need to get super fast CPU speeds to render, you'll be fine with the non k.

GabeThePCHelper reacted to Ruckus42 in Dissenter - The comment section of the internet - And a severe game-changer for free speech
I'm hoping this might get discussed on The WAN show at some point.
Dissenter allows you to comment on any web page, anywhere, anytime, regardless. So if you think turning off comments on your YouTube video is effective, it's not.
This follows closely behind the WAN Show topic of pedos commenting timestamps on videos of kids. Now, I'm no fan of this practice (understatement of the year), but free speech just got a shot in the arm, for better or worse.
Dissenter is made by Gab.com, which is known for their right-leaning libertarian political stance. However, unlike Twitter, they won't ban you for your political views. They don't care if you offend someone. They just want free speech protected, something other big platforms don't seem too concerned with. Illegal content is not allowed, for obvious reasons, but that's it.
Main site:
https://dissenter.com/
I personally trust Tim Pool to cover this kind of thing:
"When I was on the Joe Rogan podcast with Jack Dorsey, he mentioned that there was a woman from the Westborough Baptist Church who was de-radicalized because she was on twitter and was exposed to other people. [W]hen you have comments sections people can communicate with each other. Someone might be a Trump supporter and someone might say they hate Trump, but then they interact and they realize the other person's not that bad."
https://dailycaller.com/2019/03/12/dissenter-app-lets-users-comment-freely/
“Dissenter launches at a time when comment sections are no longer available on every mainstream news site and blog, YouTube is shutting down comment sections while also demonetizing channels over their comment sections and social media censorship is the worst it has ever been”

I guess it's like a intel system, just with 6, 7 and 8 (mainly)

GabeThePCHelper reacted to AlTech in Snapdragon 730, 730g and 665 release
They used to do 2, 4, 6 and 8 but 2 and 4 got phased out for various reasons. So they threw in 7 to bridge the gap between 6 and 8.
