US DOE supercomputers wins for AMD, Intel, nothing new for nvidia.

But can it run minesweeper? Or Minecraft? -
I have a dual socket LGA2011 board, with two Xeons. How well could I run a game server, website, or a NAS setup? What OS should I use for this? I'm a bit of a noob but I have a lot of interest in servers and networking and such.

The case I thought wouldn't be too bad of a choice because this is a budget build, and really he didn't specify superbly on TG, RGB and the sorts. I was just trying to make something up that would look decent and would perform well. I like this build, and kind of forgot about the i5-9400F.

CPU usage, and your GPU is probably more specced for 1080p gaming, as thats really what most people have these days.

Computer turns off during Kombustor Stress Test?
GabeThePCHelper replied to Rhaemond's topic in Graphics Cards
It's most likely because you're slamming your GPU and it cant cool itself... Either it's your CPU or GPU overheating because they don't have optimal cooling. What type of cooling solution do you have? Stock cooler, AIO, something else? -
So 16k for.. a vertical TV? Why? 16,000 you could just get a vertical monitor set up. I've never seen anyone who wants to put their phone on the TV..

Am I dumb, or did I get a lemon?
GabeThePCHelper replied to TempestCatto's topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
Ryzen is very very picky on their ram, certain brands, and then certain speeds. -
1060 3gb, or a used RX 570 / 580.

DRP4 is my pick for most quiet cooler, that 250W TDP is awesome. 1-2mm doesn't really matter when you're trying to mount the cooler.
-
Nope, it has an AMD Ryzen 3rd generation chip, a modified Radeon NAVI, and it supports 8k and ray-tracing.

Oh wow, that's amazing how much storage we can pack into such a small space.. Just imagine how big 200 mb was back in the day, it was gigantic!

I want to start making some simple tutorials for F3D (Fusion 360) and also want to upload games.. Any ideas on a name? I want to at least include 'f3d' in the name.
-
Yep. If you're just doing modeling and no rendering, the 8700 would be your best option because it has the performance that would get what you need done.
-
Go b360-i and get the 8700. If you don't need to get super fast CPU speeds to render, you'll be fine with the non k.
