I use it for youtube, floatplane, homework, steamlink, and other things like that. I made my own cooling system with the heatsink from that kit and another pc fan and I was able to overclock mine to 2 ghz and only hits 40-60 degrees depending on the load.

The pi 3 is most likely fine for your use but I found a big difference in performance going from the pi 3 to the pi 4 but I don't use mine for gaming. if you get a pi 4 you will need a heat sink and/or fan it gets pretty hot without one. edit: I use this kit: https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07WRMR2CX/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

doesn't the 9100f clock higher then the 2600 for cheaper? I recently built an arcade machine using an old dell system with a core 2 duo 4300 but it can't even run 60 fps in bloons td 6 and I want to upgrade it what do you think about this - https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/user/tucktin32/saved/#view=XvxZf7 I will also be reusing a GT 1030 I got my school to buy when I built it. I want to play games like: *BLOONS *Duck Game *stick fight *MAME *software.inc *just cause 4 (No I don't use the arcade buttons for jc4,bloons or softwar.inc but they work great for the others)

I want to control the fans on my dell computer manually with a separate controller but if I unplug them from the motherboard my computer comes up with a screen saying support assist testing cpu fan and then won't let you do anything for almost 5 minutes then it comes up with an error and loads the os. How can I disable the support assist thing? It's an XPS 8930.
