  1. It is OK. I do it all the time. I have figured that when you turn it off, all it does is unpower the RAM and reloads the data from the HDD/SSD
  2. Swap the SSD for a reputable one. Never heard of that brand before
  3. Cant beat my whopping 92,839 hours runtime. It was in a server so only 200 power cycles.
  4. In my area, static IPs are only available under the buisness line. If you can set a static IP, do it through the router
  5. You can put it at the bottom of the caes. Is there any cab;e management space in your case. If not you might want to zip tie some wires together to make it a bit neater
  6. @Tan3l6 I did that but it came up with "electronics" which is the most useless search result it could have come up with
  7. @Tan3l6 Thank you so much. I have been searching for hours
  8. @Nibbzey Can you see the screws on this outlet Use a wire to touch the screw to the metal of the case (do not plug into the pins. Touch the screw with a wire as it is grounded)
  9. The hard ware is not overclocked but the point is that the PSU could not handle the power draw. Download AIDIA64 trial and stress your GPU and |CPU and see what happens to the voltage. Anything under 8V is considered a fail for me (on the 12V rail)
  10. @MadmanRB My PC kept freezing and had to be restarted when overlcocked so I attatched my multimeter to the power rails and investigated the issue. Turned out to be the PSU
  11. @MadmanRB Just because it is a tear old doesn't mean it can't be faulty. It can be faulty straight out of the box or develop a problem later. It might not have enough power capacity, or the voltage may be significantly lowering under load. In my instance, the 12V rail was lowering to 6V
  12. I don't think the mobo is bad. It is probably an outdated BIOS. Try updating it
  13. Try using a different PSU. That seemed to be the issue with me
  14. This seems like a static/ground interference issue. Try to ground your headphone jack externally if you are experienced with electronics
  15. Yes it is a good combo, but if AMD creates a new socket, the X570 won't handle ryzen 4 and 5
  16. Get the crucial mx series insread
  17. @leadeater Thats another £400 and I already hhave the dl350
  18. @RollinLower Guess ill go with that then. It is going to be sticking out about 35cm thaugh
  19. @leadeater The server only cost £300
