Hey Buddys,
yep - im on of that guys. I replaced my Desktop PC with a Laptop!
I allways dreamed of the possibility that one day Laptops are strong enough to replace a PC. We are not quiet there but we are near enough for me to give it a try.
So i upgraded my 6 year old gaming PC and my 2 year old Monitor (Acer Predator Z35P) and bought a Razer Blade 17 and the Samsung Odyssey G9 both based on LTT Tech Reviews.
FPS are great, Laptop under load (Games) is a bit noisy but i wear headset for gaming so its okey - but a trade off. (Yes it is on a Stand)
Im new to the whole Laptop is your new Desktop thing and i wonder if there is a perfomanceloss because i connected the display on the Thunterbold4 Port with a USB-C to DP cable.
What brings me to the next point: Mux Switch - do i have one? Is my CPU Bottlenecking my GPU over Thunderbolt4?
Thanks for your help.
(Extra points: my Synapse 3.0 wont change profiles based on Apps or based on Keycombinations - properly configured and reinstalled the Software allready)
((Extra extra points: If you have a Razer Blade 17 as well, does your boottime (coldboot) sucks aswell?)
