  1. Hello, I have a question regarding cpu/gpu utilisation. I ran a benchmark in AC:Valhalla, the CPU utilisation was at 1% and the GPU was at 99% (using around 7GB of VRAM). Should there be more of VRAM used or is this a normal behaviour? Should there be more CPU usage? Settings are mostly on high/ultra 3840x2160. I'd appreciate any info on this. Thank you CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5950X MB: GIGABYTE X570 AORUS ELITE GPU: SAPPHIRE Radeon RX 6900 XT 16GB GDDR6 NITRO+ SE gaming RAM: Kingston Technology Fury Beast RGB 128GB 3200MHz DDR4 CL16 DIMM
  2. PSU should be sufficient enough, CPU/GPU temps are ok, CPU stress test, GPU stress test & even memtest passed without any errors & both sets of memory are set to 2400mhz which hopefully shouldn't cause problems. All that is left is the motherboard I think, hopefully I haven't missed anything else, don't know what else should I be looking for.
  3. Hello. My computer keeps either hanging or rebooting itself, with CPU & RAM red led light blinking, but this only happens during gaming; sometimes after 15min, sometimes after 20, 30, 40, etc...with no blue screen error. Either just hangs with a black screen or reboots itself. Has anyone experienced something similar or have any tips how to fix this? Specs are: CPU: Ryzen 7 2700X MB: Gigabyte Aorus B450 Elite RAM: 2x Kingston KHX3200C16D4/8GX 8GB 2x Kingston KHX2666C16/16G 16GB All of them set to 2400mhz GPU: Radeon RX 470 PSU: LC-Power LC8850III V2.3 Arkangel 3
  4. Hello, can anyone suggest any decent M-ATX boards for Win98 machine? I looking for two at least (one with AGP 2x + ISA, and the other one APG 4x + ISA). Any appropriate suggestions? Thank you
  5. Hello, I'm trying to put together a PC (from my spare parts, Ryzen 1800X, AM4 itx board, Sapphire Radeon HD RX480) mainly used for emulation (Batocera), but my itx case space options are limited. I'm looking for a case with dimensions like... W: max. 310mm, H: max. 100mm, D: max. 350mm; can anyone suggest anything appropriate? Thank you.
  6. And the funny thing is, I've even tried to set steam.exe affinity 0-7 & apparently it worked..., but the next day the same troubles appeared, no matter what...

  8. In a few chosen games (NBA 2K21, Injustice: Gods among us, Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition, Capcom Arcade Stadium,...) I'm having a display issues, the video freezes approx. every 30-40 seconds for about 20 sec, while audio keeps going normally. Does anyone know how to fix this, 'cause the system should be more than capable of handling those games.
  9. Hi, I was wondering what would be the best or safest virtual memory setting with a system with 128 GB of RAM & with three SSD drives. It's currently set to SYSTEM MANAGED SIZE, currently allocated 8192 MB (recommended 17270 MB), should I leave it as it is, should I set a custom size or set to NO PAGING FILE ?
  10. Have you tried connecting it to a Windows based system, just for this firmware upgrade? Would that work?
  11. Hello, I have a few questions regarding a Lenovo Ideapad 3 laptop; currently there's installed 16 GB of SO-DIMM DDR4 3200 memory, even though it's 8gb soldered to the mainboard + 8gb stick, I can't get it to work in dual channel mode, but in the specs list it's clearly stated that it's dual channel capable. There's no option in the bios, any ideas how to turn it on? As for the graphics, it's an integrated Radeon, currently using 2GB of memory, that's maximum I can set it to in the bios. Is there any way to set it up at least to 4GB ? Thank you
  12. Hello, I have a question....... how can I check if my PC is displaying FPS count correctly? I've tested Warcraft 3: Reforged on both my computers; one being a desktop PC (Ryzen 9 5950X, Radeon RX 6900 XT & Aorus UHD 4K FI32U 144hz monitor) & the other one is a gaming laptop Acer Predator 17 G9-791 (QuadCore Intel Core i7-6700HQ, nVidia GeForce GTX 980M, LG Philips LP173WF4-SPF1 laptop display panel). On my laptop, set to 1920x1080 60hz, with vsync OFF, FPS counter shows 300+, but on my desktop PC set to 1920x1080 144hz, with vsync OFF (I have two FPS counters turned on), the one provided with AMD software in the upper right corner clearly shows almost 400fps while the one from Gigabyte Aorus OSD Sidekick software in the lower right corner is always showing 144fps max. regardless of the game I choose. Is this a correct display or am I missing something? Some settings perhaps?
  13. Yes, I got a reply from customer support....uninstalled rgb fusion & trixx, rebooted, then first installed trixx then rgb fusion, now it's working fine.
  14. Hello, I've bought a Radeon RX 6900XT SE graphics card recently and it seems it's working fine. But after loading Trixx software, I've noticed a few things, when I run "Fan health check", I hear the fans turning on, but the Trixx reports a failed fan check test. Even the nitro glow settings have no effect (it's currently running on random/factory settings RGB). I've reconnected the card a few times and still got the same result. Other than those issues, the card works fine. Anyone had a similar problem; how to fix this? I also have a question about the ARGB 3pin (5v) cable to connect the card to a motherboard (Aorus Elite X570). Which cable would you recommend? Thank you
  15. Hello, would anyone recommend any good software for upscaling video files to HD (1080p) or 4k (2160p), preferably free or for a decent price? Thank you.
  16. I understand everyone's statement, but as far as min. requirements go as seen in my previous post..........it's says 1ghz or more with 2 cores or more .....and yet 2.6 4core cpu still isn't officially supported. I don't need to upgrade as soon as possible, but if I'd ever had to, what problems would it bring? Would it be just a software issue, or would it be possible to damage any hardware? Purely asking 'cause I've seen some people online blaming Win11 for damaging their Acer Helios systems, and Predator is a bit similar.
  17. Hello, is it possible to upgrade to Windows 11 on Acer Predator 17 G9-791 ? I've read some forums regarding that issue & seen some upgrade videos & I'm still not too convinced. I don't have a possibility to upgrade via Windows Update, 'cause it says it's no supported yet. Then I've tried a PC Health Check app and it said that CPU (Intel Core i7-6700HQ) isn't supported (but everything else went fine...secure boot, TPM 2.0, etc..) even though min. requirements for CPU apparently are "1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster with 2 or more cores". I could probably manually install Win 11 with some modifications....but the question is, is it worth it, even thought it's not officially supported yet or should I wait for an official update, if it ever eventually comes ? Would this affect the laptop in a bad way (especially the battery) ?
  18. I did a clean install with nvidia drivers & it was still the same. Work fine now, both on the desktop & in the games.
  19. Update: After an extensive forum searching, I've managed to find a solution, at least for now, which is to TURN ON THE ANTIALIASING-FXAA, in Nvidia Control Panel, hopefully it'll remain that way.
