  1. Here are some images to demonstrate the wierdness of this fan and it's mounting holes. Nothing seem standard to this but maybe I'm wrong.
  2. Thanks for input; There are several options to 200mm fans. The reason Im asking is its implemented in a side cover construction that is out of the ordinary. Scroll down a bit for a good view https://www.legitreviews.com/antec-p193-mid-tower-atx-case-review_1261/4 Regarding the Y-splitter: sure yeah, but Id have to take 2 fans with widely different characteristics into account ( a 120 mm in or an 140 mm out) and I have no idea of the implications in rpm, air flow, etc. Good suggestion tho! Worth a shot if nothing else turns up.
  3. Hot damn that was fast. Thanks for reply! I could not care less about the RGB, but Noctua are a plight on the eyes but it would be in a well hidden place... I'll have a look see! Are you sure these are my only options?
  4. Hey guys and possibly gals. I want to change the "Big Boy" fan of my Antec p193 due to noice due to age. Now I'm looking for specs for the antec fan but cant really find any but I want to make sure whatever fan fits in this slightly odd side cover configuration. Ive already taken it apart a few times for cleaning, but I dont really know what specs I need to identify for compatibility, as it feels like such an odd construction. In short, what are the make or break dimensions i need if not the exact ones of the original. Anyone around here have some experience to shed some light on what is guaranteed to fit with additional bonus for silence in low to medium settings? additional question: Ive filled up my 4 chassi fan headers on the mother board, and I dont want to use the old power cables (is it molex theyre called? The big clunky ones...) can I use another header like the water pump header and just configure it differently somehow? Any other options other then a controller board?
  5. Hello, newbie from Sweden here. New on forums but long time follower of ltt on youtube. I'm looking for an upgrade of the GPU for my old system hosting a gtx 770 that no longer pulls it weight when gaming. I dont think i'm bottlenecked on anything but feel free to call me out on that. It's a custom system that i've upgraded here and there over the years, but the chassi and PSU are almost 10 years old. I had to double check but I have both an 8 and a 6 pin from PSU. Ill be driving on a G-synced 1440p 144 hz monitor (165OC), and no, nothing has ever run at 144 fps on this GPU. Does minesweeper count? I'm aiming at a mid tier 2060/70 RTX card, have always gone for Asus since early 2000s and have no experience of other manufacturers. I find it impossible to keep track of gpu stats between cards to have a clue what to get. 2070 this or 1070Ti that? In regards to the below system, what card gives the most bang for the buck, if any or should I stick to a GTX? Raytracing sure, but meh. System as is: ASUS Z170-A S-1151 ATX Intel Core i7 6700 / 3.4 GHz processor S-1151 Crucial Ballistix Elite 16GB 2666MHz DDR4 DIMM 288-pin Samsung 950 PRO MZ-V5P256BW 256GB M.2 PCI Express 3.0 x4 (NVMe) COOLER MASTER SILENT PRO ATX12V 2.3 700W ANTEC MIDITOWER P193 EATX BLACK
