  1. Is this something that SpaceX's starlink service could solve? Just a thought I had, plus I guess it could provide internet connection
  2. Preferably around £300. I’m not the biggest fan of used hardware though
  3. Hey there, I am looking to buy a laptop and have found this one: https://www.ebuyer.com/874549-hp-255-g7-ryzen-3-8gb-256gb-full-hd-15-6in-win10-laptop-6bn96ea-abu?reevoo_page=1&reevoo_filter=student#reevoo_embedded_reviews I am an accounting student and will be using chrome and excel (and other office applications) and the same time so I don’t think it will need to be that powerful nor have a lot of storage as i will only be storing documents (I have a gaming pc for games). is this any good? / or can I do better for the price? many thanks, RC
  4. Hey there, I am looking to buy a laptop and would like some suggestions. I will only be using office applications and chrome at the same time and i use MEGA file sharing so it doesn’t need to be that powerful nor with a lot of local storage Is there any laptops with a 1080p display and a SSD of at least 128gb available within the £350 range (preferably without bezels that you can park a bus on) many thanks, RC
  5. Hey there, I am building an itx PC which only has 1 USB 2.0 header where I need 2, one for Kraken M22 aio and the other for front pannel usb. As seen in the picture, does the usb 2 connector which braches off of the usb 3 connector have to be plugged in for both usb 3 front pannel connectors to work. (Hopefully you can understand from my explanation)
  6. Correct, also i need it to be reasonable portable to take between university and home on the train a few times a year
  7. I forgot to mention that I know that it says that they are not compatible but they are, the psu comes with an atx adapter and I have seen builds in this case with aio's
  8. I am building a gaming PC for around £900. Please can you take a look to see whether it is any good and suggest any areas for improvement. Which Blower GPU?

This might seem a bit stupid but (with the weird orientation of the case) could I have 2 intakes (1 at top and 1 at back) and use the PSU as an exhaust. In this case the PSU pulls air in from the case and exhausts from the bottom
  10. Hey there, I am building an ITX PC in the Raijintek Metis Plus. As it is an ITX case, I am worried about keeping the PC cool. I am thinking about putting a rx 590 in (either gigabyte or Sapphire) but I am not sure whether a reference style GPU is good for the temperatures. Are there any blower style GPU's available around the £200/$250 or any reference cards which will help take the hot air from the GPU away from the inside of the case. Is a reference card ok? I will be using a 120mm AIO so hopefully this will help with air flow. Many Thanks, RC
  11. Hey There, I need a laptop for £300/$350 that i will only use for word, excel and content consumption such as YouTube and Netflix. I would prefer to have windows as i use MEGA file sharing and i find it easier to edit and use documents on windows. I am building a gaming pc so will not need it to game at all. A good battery life will be beneficial. Please can you suggest any good options Many Thanks, Reece
  12. Whoops, forgot to add. ryzen 5 2600 Gigabyte rx 590 16gb ram m.2 ssd (500gb) all in an itx rig
  13. Hey there, According to PC Part Picker, my build will use 359w. Is a corsair sf450w PS4 enough. Will operating near capacity on normal operation impact noise, heat, etc. Or should I splash out for the corsair sf600w PS4? Many Thanks RC
  14. Thank you for the suggestions. What turned you away from the a400?
  15. Hey Guys, I am going to build a portable itx pc in the Raijintek metis plus and would like any suggestions as to any imporvements. The current price is £750 but i am willing to spend areund £800 (a little over is ok) My main Purpose for the pc is for it to be able to play most games at 60 FPS+ Whilst being small enough for me to transport between university and home on the train within a duffel bag.
