  1. Got a new PSU and it solved the problem. Thanks for the tips!
  2. Hello all, So I have been having this issue since I built my new rig about a year ago now and it's only getting worse. My issue is that my PC will just crash at random times. By crashing I mean it suddenly shuts down, monitors go black, RGB on the motherboard, GPU, CPU and Ram all turn off for about a second. Then the RGB comes back on like it's going to reboot and it doesn't. I can see the motherboards post codes and it doesn't show anything out of the norm. PC will not start back up until i turn the PSU switch off hold the power button to drain anything left in the system, then flip the switch back on and press the power button again. I have run individual and combined stress tests on the CPU, Ram and GPU and I am unable to reproduce this crash. It only happens when I'm playing games that are on the more demanding side. All my drivers and BIOS are up to date and all components are running at stock speeds. All temps stay in an acceptable range. I'm thinking it's either bad Ram or a bad PSU. Specs below. Thank you in advance for anyone who replies to this post. Motherboard: Asus ROG Strix x570-E Gaming CPU: Ryzen 3800x (stock wraith cooler) Ram: G.Skill Trident Z 32GB (16x2) 3200 CL16 (running in dual channel mode per motherboard specs) GPU: Asus ROG Strix 2070S PSU: Corsair HX850i 80+plat. Case: NZXT H700
  3. Motherboard = Asus ROG x570 Gaming - e the two fans on the radiator have two wires each, one being power, the other being RGB power. The AIO has 4 wires that come off it 2 plugs for fan power and two plugs for RGB power. I then plugged that into the CPU fan header. The AIO gets power from a SATA power connector straight to the PSU, nothing else on that line. The USB cable i have plugged into one of my motherboards USB 2 headers.
  4. I recently bought and installed the Corsair H115i RGB Platinum AIO. The pump seems to be working i can hear it turn on when the PC gets booted up. However, It will not show up in the ICUE software. I've used programs to see a list of USB devices on my PC and it doesn't even show up in the lists. Updated my BIOS and Chipset to the latest versions, Uninstalled and reinstalled ICUE even using CCleaner to wipe registry, deleted all temp files as recommended by Corsair. Just curious if anyone else has had the same or similar issues and what the solutions where.

I do some pretty basic 2D CAD for work, nothing too demanding there. I'm currently becoming very interested in character and level design for animation and video games, but not even close to a novice level on this. I currently edit video and audio for youtube/ podcasts and the rendering times are getting to be horribly long on my current PC. I game a lot when i can and want a PC that can handle most games on high or ultra settings in 1440p. Just wondering if this build is way off for my needs or am i closer than i think?
