it's a hefty chunk of change, but EK makes quality gear and I trust it.

Depending on what is available to you it may be worth looking at different radiators I personally like AlphaCool as they give more inlet/outlet options, which can help for filling and draining. You just need to take some time to flush them out before using them.

There's certainly places you could save money, but I'd 100% stick with EK for the Blocks regardless. Though I'm the last person to talk to about cutting costs on a watercooling loop 😛 (2 x 280mm @45mm thick, a 360mm @ 80mm thick, a bunch of 90 degree fittings monoblock, and 5.25" bay res/ pump combo. Probably more in cooling than most people spend on whole PC's... I think I have a problem, please send help 😛 )

this is on the low side for a 3090, it should be capable of 120MH/s if not throttling
    my MSI 3090 does 126MH/s

that's very low for a 3090, not bad

Yes, 90-94C is quite good actually. I wouldn't worry about it.

Don't have much better rn but also ran out of time to find stuff for now so will update if I find something good.

Yeah that sypder is the new version of what I have. Oh and for sure it gets many screens far closer to eachother. Sure it will never be 100% perfect but you'll get damn close. Does take some time tho but that is normal. I tend to do a yearly check and a bimonthly check for the first half year of a new monitor as often those have to "set" a bit.

Of course don't have to get a new one plenty going around on the used market got my spyder4pro for like 40 something cuz the outside casing has a nasty scratch which does not matter at all for the functionality of the device.

Yeah just get a new one. Asus has their proart stuff and that is pretty darn good. Their budget offerings are already on par/better than the lg. You also have some lower end eizo screens that are like "chefs kiss".

the msot likely reason for this is the jack or cable for the case the connects to the mother board or even the connection itself is just poorly sheilded and is picking up noise you are more likely to get better results from the motherboard audio directly and not the case as audio in case is more likely than not just utter garbage where motherboard audio is generally decent especially for modern mobos

No need to change boards, the X470 you have is plenty capable as is.
As for the above, I agree - Grab some extra sticks and you'll be OK.

Noticeable would depend on how much the software you're using even profits from/depends on memory speed, but overall I don't think it's a worthy upgrade. You're probably better of just getting the additional RAM.

Not worth having to rebuy the RAM (not to mention the motherboard), even if you sell the current set.

    Add 32GB and enjoy.

Same thing here. Ordered PNY Quadro RTX 4000 month ago, nothing received yet, except third "unexpected delay".
For the fun: Also have spare Radeon Pro W5100 laying around.

Either cpu would work great for your use case, as far as the benchmarks go, I would ask what gpu they were using because I know a professional workstation gpu would help performance in alot of those workloads as opposed to a gaming gpu!

Then either cpu is going to work great and I doubt in real world use there is even a noticeable difference! So, I would go with whatever platform is cheaper!

essentially, yes. as long as it is a newer Cooler and the ram is 3000/3200mhz (which you should be buying regardless)

In general, 8700k will win in gaming, Adobe suite workloads and other single thread bound workloads, and 2700x will win at everything else.

In your case, a 2700x is probably the better option.
