  1. I have built a new PC. Now at random times my Microphone stops working: U-PHORIA UMC22 with phantom power and AT2020 mic connected via USB cable to the PC. When I talk I can still see a light come up on the AMP - it is powered via USB so I assume the connection is not broken, and the Audio is being picked up by the device, just not received on the PC. It fixes itself when I unplug and plug it back in, or change the input device on discord and then change it back. I have never experienced this issue on my previous PC. PC is B650 tomahawk with 7800x3d if that can change anything.
  2. Yes it is, I was just wondering if there are any mistakes that I can make by just changing the ReBAR setting in the bios with no other prep. This time i didnt change it at all, the first time i did it along with the Game Boost
  3. Okay, I got it working again. Is there anything i should change if I ever concider enabling the ReBAR setting? when I looked in the bios my boot drive shows UEFI. maybe there is a setting elswhere that I have to change? Thank You guys for Your help.
  4. Just a couple of seconds, You think I shouldve powercycled the power button? I flashed the BIOS and it booted right up. Then I changed just the GAME BOOST setting, and it tanked again. Not booting once again, so just flashing the bios again - only this time no EZ debug light at all. Seems the culprit is this setting - Ill just stay away from it - if flashing the bios works this time that is
  5. I changed the boot settings to UEFI The led is red and solid - some description I found of it: VGA LED: This LED is related to the graphics card or the display output. If it stays lit, it indicates a potential problem with the graphics card or its connection to the motherboard.
  6. I have decided to change the bios settings to enable ReBAR. After doing that the PC is not booting anymore, Im getting no output on the monitor. I have changed the ReBAR to Enabled, the "above 4G memory/cryptocurrency mining [...]" setting enabled itself, so I assumed it has to be enabled with it, and while at it I turned on something called game boost in the bios settings. After a restart the PC will not boot even to bios. I have a VGA light on on the motherboard - apparently it means no video output found. I have removed the CMOS battery and put it back in [power supply disconnected] - no change, I have swapped the GPU to the other PCIE slot - no change [now swapped back to the original slot] Specs: MSI b450 tomahawk max mobo Ryzen 3600 cpu amd 5700xt gpu Help :(
  7. Any better alternatives for the price to 7800xt that come to mind?
  8. Budget (including currency): ~700eur Country: Poland Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: CS2, League, civ6, starfield, ACC, cyberpunk etc. Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Im looking to update my GPU with as little other changes as possible. Currently Im running ryzen 3600 cpu with 16gb of 3600 memory and a 5700xt gpu, 750 watt corsair gold+ and a b450 tomahawk max MB. Im wondering to what gpu I can go to until it gets bottlenecked. I was concidering 7800xt, but I would like to hear the opinion of experts :). resolution is 1440p and I would like to stay above 100 fps in everything :P.
  9. Asus vg242y 1080p 144hz Dell u2719d 1440p 60hz Used the same HDMI 8k cable MB Asus p8h67 CPU i5 2500 Graph Radeon r280x Basic MKB, nothing else
  10. So my fairly older PC has weird trouble when turning on. It posts, but when using my Asus monitor there is nothing displayed. When using a Dell monitor it boosts into bios with information that the CPU is overheating. The temp goes down, and then i can boot it into windows. After that, when i switch the monitors back, the Asus one works perfectly well. So I know every part works, but it doesnt want to display anything when I turn it on. Any ideas? Happy to answer any more questions that might help to solve this dumb issue
  11. I have some hq .mkv movies - about 6gb/25mins. Audio is supposedly dolby atmos. When watching these movies audio completely randomly cuts out for like 1/3 sec. it is not regular and video is not affected. I watch it locally via HDMI cable on a LG OLED C8 tv. Any ideas?
