  1. Agreed, was hoping someone would pull something new out of their hat tho! ?
  2. Yup, either it folds all the way, or the screen detaches. Must be Windows. I already told them that what they're asking for usually costs around $700 USD. But companies release stuff like that Miix 320 sometimes so figured I'd ask here.
  3. tl;dr: A client wants a 2 in 1 windows device that has 4G connectivity with a max budget of $250. Does anyone have leads on something magical like this? Lenovo doesn't sell the Miix 320 anymore, so that's out, and I remember HP Stream being almost what they need, but that doesn't exist anymore either.
  4. I have 2 NVMe drives in raid 0, but thats because I have all my user folders, downloads, desktop, etc, forwarded to other hard drives. Did it purely for overkill, and worst i'll lose if a SSD dies is the same amount if time i'd lose anyway if i was on a single drive and it had died.
  5. I have a Ti Nspire CAS, and it has Mini usb. I'm assuming the basic ones all have this weird connector, and the higher end ones have Mini or Micro USB All the images on google indicate that the 34 Plus has mini usb though, so the regular 34 might, idk.
  6. A search for Ti 83 Plus USB came up with this and a bunch of cables that look like this, so I'm assuming it's not Mini B,
  7. Is this the same guy that "wowed" everyone by making an iphone with scrap parts in china or something? Or was that a different guy
  8. Looking to replace the dash cam in my girlfriends car, Her dad got her this one, which has pretty bad FOV and and the resolution is pretty low. It basically makes one recording, but the left half of the recording is the front camera, and the right half is the rear camera. Since it mounts over the rear view mirror its annoying to adjust whenever the driver changes. I originally was looking at the Anker Roav, which there is a review of here on the forums. It looks good, but I kind of want dual cameras, front and back. Or even triple, Front, back, driver, but that's asking for too much, lol These are the ones I've been considering: Rexing V1P Z-EDGE S3 ITRUE X6D Seems I can't really find any dual ones that also have good night vision for the front and back, so I'm might just be more worth it to get 2 good single dash cams and mount them at the front and back.
  9. i used to use windows 8.1 as a to go installation, i think it when it's installed like that it handles activation differently, or else it would kinda defeat the purpose of seamless movement between computers
  10. Lol ok cool, thanks for all the answers.
  11. Lol Thanks, and good to know, i mainly only linked that as an example of what I've been seeing, and because it listed the specific versions of the card I had. since the 7770 had the better cooler and 2GB of Vram,
  12. So I have ASUS Radeon HD 7770 Dual-Fan 2 GB and a EVGA GeForce GTX 670 FTW Which one of them is better? Since I upgraded my computers to a 970 and 1080, I'm going to give these older cards away, one is going to my friend and the other is going to my little brother. I can't really find any threads online comparing them, just these Benchmark charts, http://gpuboss.com/gpus/EVGA-GeForce-GTX-670-vs-ASUS-Radeon-HD-7770-Dual-Fan-2-GB
  13. Here's the parts list I went with. Though I do have the money to blow on a i5, This is an experiment, I want to stick to a budget and upgrade as I need. Seeing as how the last computer I build I pretty much went completely overboard, with a 3770k, 16GB ram, ridiculous amounts of IO, and a PCI-E SSD. If you're curious as to why the ram is gone from the list, the answer is simple, I don't need to buy it yet. I won't be able to take my main rig back home till spring break, so I won't be using this PC very often until then. I'll just take 2/4 ram sticks out of my main rig when I need them. Pairing these parts with 8GB 1600Mhz RAM and a GTX 670 FTW seem pretty good. and that'll leave my main rig still very usable, with 8GB 1600Mhz RAM and an overclocked 3770k. 14. It's a EVGA 670 FTW, the length is 254mm, and according to overclock.net, the max clearance on the Hadron is 267mm, so luckily I'm safe.
  15. So here's what I have now, there's been back and forth on the CPU so I'm still unsure. I'd like some more opinions. This CPU will probably be fine for what I want to do, but if there are cheaper options that will perform relatively the same for my uses that would be cool.
