  1. Hello guys, I have an HP Prodesk 600 g1 sff. I bought it second hand with no RAM so I first bought a 4GB Kingston DDR3 stick, then I acquired a Samsung 4GB stick later on. All was well until the PC started act up from nowhere. It gives 5 beeps 5 times, doesn't switch off, it continuously runs the fans nonstop. I did some troubleshooting and I figured out that one slot, of the four, reads the Samsung stick and the rest don't. As for the kingston stick, non of the slots read it. I have tried both sticks in other computers and they work just fine. I am using the Samsung stick at the moment but sometimes it doesn't work. Please help with some information as to what the cause may be and the solution to it.
  2. Hey guys. I ended up just resetting the computer. It works great now. Thanks for your support.
  3. Not at all, the computer is virtually unusable. It take about a minute to open file explorer and even longer to run other programs.
  4. This machine is slow, doing this will take some time, if it will be able to launch the app.
  5. Probably the power requirements of the SSD or the system simply can't handle the transfer rate of the SSD.
  6. Hey guys. I have an HP ProDesk 600 G1 sff running Windows 10 1809 on 8GB of ram, 500 GB Western Digital @ 7200 hdd, i5-4570 CPU. However Windows runs slower than ever. I later realized that the disk is always operating at 100%. I'm trying to disable some services but it's not working and it's pain staking to navigate around windows as it is extremely slow. How can I reduce the disk usage and get my pc running smoothly?
