Whole point of TreeSize, you can launch it once now and analyze C:, then leave it open and launch a 2nd instance later, analyze and compare drilling down as necessary.

The tools you were given in that other thread give you instantaneous readings but they're kinda meaningless.

But yeah, unless you actually run out of space just forget about it.

You can use something like TreeSize (in admin mode) and compare between now and a few hours later to see where the additional space is used.

And don't keep duplicating the same post.

I have alienware 15 R3 and im using WD Blue SN570 NVMe as my main Boot drive and the other one which came with this laptop (the crapy toshiba one ).
    Both works fine.
The Toshiba one was boot drive before but it had very bad stats so i had to replace it.

frozensun reacted to Eigenvektor in How much can you trust to Windows Battery report?
This. And most likely the wear level indicator of HWInfo64 isn't going to do anything other than show the values returned by Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI), which in turn gets its values from the battery. So the data source is the same in all cases, just the presentation of the data may be slightly different.

Ideally you'd want to charge the battery to full, then let the machine run with some constant load and get a report of battery charge over time to see if it has any issues like suddenly dropping from 80% to 20% in a matter of seconds or similar.

frozensun got a reaction from dogwitch in how to lower temp on RTX 2080 S?
Well my friends,I've tried what I could do,installing fan blowing to backplate, installing fan blowing directly to graphics card, and maybe temp lower only 1° C.
I have Zotac Amp Extreme edition and probably 80° C is normal for this model but I want it to run around 70 ° C and don't care about performance lost with few fps lower since I play older titles and fps >100.
So I suppose only way to undervolt or increase fan speed, but I don't like gpu fan noise.
How do I do undervolt and which values to set?
I suppose only move the power slider in MSI AB to like hmm 80 %,dunno...
I mean 80 C is maybe perfectly fine for it,but guys trust me,I can't even hold finger for a split of a second on a card.
One fan is set by stock with 200 mm blowing into the card and second one was set blowing to the backplate and nothing not evne single 1 degree lower.

I'm suprised electronics engineer did not make up some component in serial/paralel with coils to reduce vibration.
A lot of guys complaining on this how their graphics card is "crying".
I am actually suprised how some mentioned they even got RMA.
I don't think that should bd covered with RMA since it's normal how coil works.
It is like you buy new Mercedes and complain how its engine is too loud and want RMA. 🤣

It was bound to happen. SATA3 is limited to 600MB/s. It's a standard from 2009 built on the same designs from the year 2000.

seon123's comment included pictures of where to look, so do us a favor and look at this comment instead of asking "could you mark it on the pic?"

In your original post you included a picture of the switch. That picture is completely blown out because the white LED is turn on. Request the seller to send a picture of the switch with the LED turned off. And obviously make sure it is a sharp picture so that you (or us) can actually read the branding on the switch.

I also asked you to send a picture of the switches on your keyboard since there seems to be confusion, and you completely ignored that. You even quoted it!

Um, no. There was never any misunderstanding. You incorrectly read every post that directly addressed your questions.
No, it is not a special picture. It is the same picture, but with the LED turned off.
In fact, he doesn't even need to send a picture. You could just ask him to tell you the branding on the switch. But instead of asking the seller 1 question, you chose to ask people in this thread multiple questions spread out through multiple days.

Yes. Regular letters (as with most keys on a keyboard) are 1U size so they are swappable.

The difficulty mostly appears with modifier keys (CTRL, ALT, WINDOWS, FN) because every brand does the sizing slightly differently.
It's even possible to run into issues with keys like HOME/END/PAGE UP/PAGE DOWN because a brand may place them on a non-standard row.

Few months back KC3000 1TB purchased for around 110 euros,I saw good discount on 2TB version last week for around 150 euros+shiping so I went for it. But I already installed 1TB version with heatsink (plus thermalpad) onto MoBo,but does not matter,I have one more m.2 slot free which is running x4.
Kingston is always good for me,since very often they are selling their products on discount and I don't think you can get X4 nvme drive 2Tb version for this money, so I suppose it was good value.
Mouse, well I wanted one less cable more on my table so I went for it.Quality and sensor is amazing, the only issue I could have is that is too much dust in my room, so I should need some type of cover for mouse.I have Sensei 310 they both look the same, but Sensei has a lot more better grip.
Cables, got them used for 100 euros with controller, but sadly I don't own 3x8 pin GPU,maybe one day, so in my RGB rig I only missed the RGB cables, which I purchased.
Hope one day will have 3x8 pin GPU.

This is my goal bike, the show off bike, the “I’m wearing my tiger stripe SB zooms and terrorizing the teenagers at the local skate park” bike.
The cannondale will be to get me in shape, and to reasonably move around town. This bike is for show.
It cost me an absolute fortune and no bike lock on earth would make me feel safe leaving it outside a gas station.

I bought 13 Thermalright TL-C12C-S argb fans to replace the deepcool RF120's i had that were 12v rgb. my old cable management was awful i hid a monstrosity behind the 5000D's 2 panels which struggled to stay closed.

I know its not the best job by any means at all, but for me im proud that i was able to semi manage the torrent of cables that comes with 13 fans. at least from the viewable side it is ALOT cleaner than my old setup.

My only issue with rgb currently is how closed off it can be. i use different brands of software (thundermaster for my gpu, dragon center for motherboard, and ngenuity for keyboard and mousemat oh and evga unleashed for mouse) when ive tried to use any open source software my keyboard and mousemat go into seizure mode while my pc case stays uniformed colours but unresponsive to any commands to change style/colour. am i such a total noob that im missing something or is it really that bad that 1 program cant control an umbrella of devices without the need for bloat?
