I am having the same problem with my Samsung galaxy s7 edge for a while, I know the phone is pretty dated but my experience is just like how Linus describes it. My battery is running out so fast when I don't use it, but when I am gaming or watching videos online, the battery doesn't run out extremely fast. I am just speculating but might it be that, because the phone is hot all the time the lithium-ion battery might lose its capacity much faster than the batteries at the other brands?
