    First of all I would like to suggest you to get UPS for your computer it is like a giant power brick that will allow you to shutdown your computer safely And regarding your symptoms per. Say I think you should run some SMART tests on the hard disc concerning the health of that particular drive and if possible try other troubleshooting methods as well

    Sir I already did seatools test , gsmart test , checkdiskinfo SMART tests.. What if the drive past all the smart test but still makes that grinding noise in the video.. because miraculously when I performed the Lenovo vintage test again on my Lenovo laptop it passed the smart test but it still making that a grinding noise as shown in the video above that is concerning the noise because as far as I know of all the laptop that I had neither of them had a noise similar to that.

    Because Lenovo ideapad 330 81DE01MJIN your version that i purchased flipkart making the same noise. Sir is your laptop also making same noise ??
    on online forum i found it is seagate hdd sound made by that specific version Seagate ST1000LM035-1RK72
    It passed smart short self test and smart drive self test on seagate hdd tools but failed on lenovo vantage hardware scan on smart short self test and smart drive self test ??
    Please help asap i am confused???

      The sounds of the disk can be due to several reasons, you can look for a firmware update and if there is one available that could help you, the updates are searched for here: https: //apps1.seagate.com/downloads/request.html

       

      Also, there are a number of sounds that were recorded on discs that are failing and you can listen to those audios on the following link, if the sound is the same make a backup and look for a replacement the disc: datacent. com/hard_drive_sounds.php

       

      If the problem persists and If the computer is still under warranty, try to do an RMA.

    Which one is better Mx150 1d12 v.s. mx130 nvidia performance And by what relative percentage? P.s. Considering since mx150 has two versions 1d10 tdp 25watt and 1d12 tdp 10watt

    I'm just a newbie but I think you will need to look into CPU z application that will give you more details about whether second slot is present or not and the voltages of the current ram you are holding you could also search up the model whether it's RAM is expandable or not for the processor that supports and ram upgrade is quite good if the processor requires it while multitasking
