  1. Path of Exile, Apex Legends, Metro Exodus, Fallout 4, Witcher 3, Resident Evil 2, Skyrim, AC Odyssey, etc. I play at 1440p 144hz and 4K 60hz. I haven't gamed much yet, been busy overclocking everything, but I will be playing those titles at the very least and likely many more.
  2. Technically something always bottlenecks something else. It is just a matter of which one bottlenecks the other first, or so I have been told.
  3. Hi, Recently purchased and paired an EVGA RTX 2080 FTW3, overclocked +115 core, +1100 memory. I decided on the 8086K, and I specifically chose it over the base 8700K for a higher probability of a binned chip and a solid 5ghz overclock. I also chose it over a 9700K or 9900K for a much easier delid experience and guaranteed thermal improvements, as opposed to the tedious process of sanding the die, removing solder, etc. plus the allegedly negligible benefits seen with delidding a 9700K or a 9900K. However, after reading many threads on various sites about the apparently decent thermals and incredibly low vcore required to overclock a 9900K (1.25v in many instances, which is incredible in my opinion), I wish now that I had spent the extra $120 or so and bought a 9900K when it was on sale for $500. They were tax-free on eBay, too So my question is this: What will bottleneck the other first? Will CPU (8086K) bottleneck GPU (RTX2080) first, or vice versa? Thanks if you chose to read this whole thing.
  4. Sorry, but do you mean RMA with Gigabyte or Amazon?
  5. What would you guys do if you were me? I saved $15 buying it on sale. Should I just RMA and buy it again full price? I'm just grateful for any input/advice. I'm not holding anyone accountable for my actions.
  6. This is my second Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Pro WiFi from Amazon. The first one had a few bent fan headers, so I exchanged it for a new one. This time I managed to damage it all by myself! While installing a defective ASUS RTX 2080 graphics card I picked up on eBay, I didn't immediately realize that the I/O shield was badly bent and contorted so it was sharp, and it scratched the PCB and the cover of the Audio driver thing (idk what it's called, pictured below). One of the scratches exposed a sliver of copper on the board's surface. Does it look safe to boot? Is this cause for serious concern? All my parts are brand new besides the graphics card which caused this issue, and of course I'll be returning that. I cannot exchange the board again. I would have to get a full refund now and I would prefer to keep the board because I got it on sale for a good price and I really like it.
