Hey look buddy, I'm an engineer. That means I solve problems, not problems like "What is beauty?" Because that would fall within the purview of your conundrums of philosophy. I solve practical problems

  1. Nothing there is worth getting. All the good stuff is definitely gone
  2. Not the sketchiest website I've ever seen but it does look very 2005
  3. Sold Out. Not a shock given the price
  4. Since you have the same GPU, RAM, and similarly classed CPUs I'm not sure there's a large difference between them, but for price-to-performance I'd go with the Ryzen 3600
  5. Yeah, you're not maxing out your GPU, but since you're getting more FPS than your monitor can even display I think you're fine.
  6. When I'm gaming my GPU is almost always above 90% and my CPU is between 10% and 40%. This is clearly a GPU bottleneck, but I'm happy with the performance and I can't afford the next tier GPU so it'll remain that way.
  7. Not likely. If one is closer to 90% and the other is much less then I'd consider it a bottleneck
  8. I'd probably do some testing to make sure it's not somehow broken but if it checks out you practically stole the system.
  9. I'd say MIS B450 Tomahawk Max. Though, if you can, wait a month. The B550 boards will be out which should (at least) drive down B450 prices.
  10. No doubt that a scam. No one in their right mind would let a legit 1080 Ti go for that cheap unless it was broken. That's around 1/10 the price its worth. All of that feedback was from over a year ago so it's more likely that that this account was hijacked or the seller suddenly decided to go scammer, after a year of doing nothing.
  11. You've got a pretty balanced system. If you've got the money and you're just dying to upgrade something: You could grab a 2080 or Ti GPU, but I'd probably wait until the fall to do that anyways (the 3000 series GPUs are rumored to be coming out in the coming months). M.2 SSD
  12. 1Password. I was on Lastpass (paid) but got super frustrated with their support and buggy apps. 1Password has be fantastic and their support is super quick and actually helpful.
  13. It's probably "good" enough but I'd be concerned about a BIOS from MSI. They released the "B450 GAMING PRO CARBON MAX WIFI" (though I can't find it actually for sale anywhere) which replaces this board (same board, just a bigger BIOS chip) so I'd be a little surprised if it got much future support. For additional context, just to add 3000 support for it they had to use their "light" BIOS (less flashy/fancy, for whatever that's worth) and remove support for "below Bristol Ridge CPU due to BIOS rom size limitation" including the Athlon x4 970/950/940, A12-9800/9800E, A10-9700/9700E, A8-9600, A6-9550/9500/9500E.
  14. Great deal but I definitely have concerns about the legitimacy of this site. Seems they sell a weird mash up of CPUs, small home appliances (toaster oven, vacuum, espresso machine), and other home stuff (shelves, pots & pans, silverware, etc) Also, the “SAFETY & SECURITY” section just says “No products were found matching your selection.” and I cant find any information about this “company” listed on the site. That would be a hard pass for me. Edit: The Whois lookup also doesn’t look promising. The site was only registered 42 days ago using Namecheap.com.
