Budget (including currency): 2200 Country: United States Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: gaming 165hz/video recording and editing Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I will be upgrading to a b550, Corsair 2tb ssd(mp600), new case, and my main concern is whether or not I have to upgrade my cpu currently rocking a Ryzen7 2700X and I’m concerned that throwing a 3080 in my rig might cause some bottle necks.

How do I check the bois version. Also the pins are fine I didn’t bend any of em. Also any suggestions on a new motherboard.

I just installed my new cpu(upgrading from a ryzen 5 1600) and I’ve been looking at its stats and each core is capped at about .8 GHz. I tried over clocking but that didn’t work. Also when I booted my computer up it gave me a message saying their was corrupted data or a new cpu was just installed. What can I do now.

Nah it’s still messed up. That message came up when I first installed the new cpu.

I just upgraded to a ryzen 7 2700X from a ryzen 5 1600 yet im getting lower frame rates whats wrong

I hate using amd Radeon settings what are the best ones to use I have an Rx580 with 8gb or DDr5. I want a nice balance of Fps and quality of any suggestions.

I already use obs, it just gets laggy.

I'm recording fortnite and the footage just seems mediocre at best and for some reason my computer can't handle both.
