  1. Would you suggest uninstalling the old drivers first? What about my HDD with my games on it?
  2. Yeah I read about that and I would have to flash the BIOS (which I didn't want to mess with). I also heard that even the z390 strix while over clocking the 9700k wasn't that good. Amazon had a warehouse deal on a z390 hero so I decided to get a new board, and sell my z370.
  3. Hey all. I am hoping to get some clarification on a issue I may experience. I am upgrading my motherboard and CPU to a z390 and 9700k (From a z370 and 8700, please don't tell me how dumb it would for me to upgrade now, but I had the opportunity, so I am) Anyway, I bought a full license for Win 10 and I have it linked to my Microsoft acct. My question is, can I just boot the new MB from the SSD I have the OS installed on? What is the best, less complicated process to this? Thanks to all
  4. So, how would I go about RMA? I know I would have to contact corsair, but I do not want to not have a PSU for who knows how longs and I dont want to have to buy a new one.
  5. So I think i'm dumb. I put my ear to the back case at the PSU. Turns out it's my PSU making all that racket. I am not so worried now lol. I was close to doing and rma on my card. I am glad I didnt!!
  6. I just took the card out to see, no wires are touching it. I did just spin the both fan blades with my finger and I could hear a fainter noise than in the video. Could it just be normal?
  7. Hey all! I have had this card about a month now and I noticed it out of the box. I have read other posts about others having fan noises on these cards. Is this anything to worry about? Is it just some coil whine or fan noise? Let me know, thank you! Also, the noise is about the same when under loads and it is at idle in the video. https://youtu.be/MqCy25g0_AM
  8. Hey all! I’m wanting to upgrade from 8700 to 9700k. I know I have to update the bios. But does this motherboard okay for this cpu?(I already have an aio for cooling) I don’t plan on doing any major over clocking, maybe some here and there. I just don’t want to have to buy a new board because I just bought the 370. Let me know what you all think. Thank you! Another random question- do you think and 8700 paired with 2080ti is a little crazy? ?
  9. Here is another question for you all. What are the primary reasons to overclock?
  10. I own a 8700 now, but I have some extra cash to get a 8700k now. I am not familiar with overclocking and do not know what it is primarily used for. Would the upgrade be worth it? My specs are: i7-8700 1440p 144hz monitor Asus Strix z370-e mobo 16gb corsair ram corsair h100i pro Rtx 2080 FE Rm850x PSU
