Funny enough, I had both a Darkflash PSU and a Corsair CV PSU blow on me. The Darkflash took my MOBO with it and the CV luckily didn't harm any other parts.
The cheapest option I would go with are the EVGA BA 500w/ EVGA BR 500w for $60. They're no top tier PSU but I've used them in a lot of budget builds and they work perfectly for what they cost.
 

So, recently I noticed that my GPU is running at x8 3.0. Which is odd because previously it had been running at x16 3.0 but now it currently is not. 
I've tried 
Reseating GPU Updating Windows Checking CPU for bent pins Trying different GPU slots Updating BIOS(this one was a bit weird though, keep reading) Trying a different GPU Cleaning the slot Okay, regarding the BIOS i noticed something rather odd, when I updated the bios, it said that the slot was running at x16 in the bios configuration, when I went into windows it said the same, GPU running at x16(But it was running at 1.1, no matter what load I had put on it). But when I had restarted the pc, all the sudden it is running at x8 3.0 once again. Is there any logical reason behind this? I almost think that it's an ill manufactured bios.

Got it thanks man, i meant worried as in that maybe when i was moving it from table to desk that it may have become unseated

And that it did. Temperatures have decreased by 14c. Thanks for helping

I see, maybe just a stiff one. Pc works so i dont think I should stress too much

it is noctua nt h1, I know its a little much but since the case is standing up im able to view the sides on the cpu and nothing has gotten on the mobo

Yeah im just gonna shove a 168mm cooler in a 140mm cpu cooler case

When I was cable managing to try to prevent GPU sag I somehow managed to break some USB 3.0 pins. Not just bend,but break them off and now they are floating around in my case waiting to short something out. I'm very young and naive and very scared to make mistakes, so this was pretty devastating to me.This was a build for my brother and I feel absolutely terrible for making this mistake. I feel like an absolute failure. I've always been afraid to make mistakes but this one made me very sad. I'm wondering if you guys could help me out by telling me your worst mistakes that had happened during a pc build.
