  1. Thank you very much for the suggestion. Again, a lot out of my budget. I want something around 50$ to be able to play Valorant and do some powerpoints. That's it. I think I would stick with the R7 240, it's the best bet.
  2. Thank you, couldn't agree more. The thing is that this PC I got is a secondary one for work and light gaming (remote). I have a proper gaming rig at home. I just want something to put in it to play Valorant at low, 720, 900 or 1080p above 60 fps.
  3. Great. So you say that it will hold up? Also, any more affordable GPU solutions for this case scenario?
  4. Also, keep it in mind that it is a SFF (small form factor) like the one attached:
  5. The i5-2500 has a 95W TDP, so that's that. I saw other units like mine that shipped with i5's and a 300W PSU instead. No dedicated cards, but still. I mean, I think they intended (at that time) for people to make upgrades down the line (within the year or 2) to higher, powerful components without changing the PSU, right? In theory, a i5-2500 and a R7 240/GT 1030 (30W) should be fine, right?
  6. First of all, I want to thank you guys for the fast replies. Second of all, as I stated in the original post, I intend to use this PC to play Valorant at low, 900p (I think that was the resolution of the monitor that came with it (VGA input only) so yea). Also, I can't afford another graphics card than the ones I stated. I really did research a lot and those were the 2 best options (beside a GT 710 or 730). It really has to be a low profile card with no external power.
  7. P.S.: I want to add the fact that I posted this on other forums and I was told that I should not try to do anything because of the age of the computer/PSU because it could be risky, a waste of money and time and would be dissapointed in the final performance.
  8. Hello everyone. I have a really big dilema and I don't know what to do. So, here it goes. I've recently got my hands on a HP Compaq 6200 Pro SFF and I want to upgrade it and use it for office work and light gaming (E-Sports like Valorant, CS:GO, LoL and so on). [!] Current specs: Pentium G620 4 GB RAM 120 GB SSD no graphics card 240 W PSU (non-changeable). I already got an i5-2500 (after research, looks like it works fine with the PSU, correct if wrong) and 4 more gigs of RAM. The question is: which graphics card is best suited for this kind of PC (low profile card)? After some research (and within my budget), I was thinking of getting a R7 240 or a GT 1030. Any thoughts or suggestions? Any information is much appreciated. Thank you!
  9. The battery is still kinda good but no. I hope it will get better.
  10. Hi. I saw this post trying to figure what is happening with my new phone. Yes. I just bought the Mi A2 a couple of days ago because I needed an upgrade from a P9 Lite 2016 and thought this phone was perfect in every aspect for the money, meaning we are in 26th of December, more than 2 months past the last post on this topic. So I'm writing here to let you know that nothing changed regarding this issue. I charged it at 100% and didn't even last for a day. I tried the tricks from here but still nothing. And Xiaomi didn't (yet) launched an update trying to fix this god damn issue. It's starting to get on my nervs because I spent kinda lots of cash on my phone at the moment. And again, I had it for 2-3 days. I just don't know what to do. I hope in 2019 Mi A2 users, including me, will finally recive a fix. If not...well... I lost a lot of money for nothing. I mean, I still have hopes because this phone is just 4-5 months old. So I'm gonna wait and hope for a definitive fix. EDIT: I updated to Android Pie 9 and last update was on 5th of December. ( Sorry for my bad English. If you don't understand something you can write me and I will try to explain. Have a good day and Happy Holidays. )
