  2. I could set them on 1000, as I am not even reaching the limits of default values. Here, I set them to 120. I am setting them in BIOS, but I am using Ryzen Master for better visualization. On -30 OCCT showed some CPU errors. The most stable values are -25 -25 -25 -25 -20 -20.
  3. The numbers you see in the picture are while using OCCT. Before and after curve optimizer, I get the same cloks, they stay all the time @~4225 (effective clocks). The only difference is that the temperature is lower.
  4. Hi. I have a Ryzen 5 5500 CPU and I am trying to get higher clocks. By watching some PBO tutorials, if I adjust the curve, I should get higher clocks, but they stay the same. Also, the tutorials say to change PPT, TDC and EDC to get more clocks. But there is no point of changing them as they do not even reach AMD`s limits. Is there any setting I am missing that enables boost? Thank you.
  5. And what fixed the problem? Why is it so hard to write the solution?
  6. Yes, I already tried them. None of them detect my drives firmware as upgradeable.
  7. Hi. I have a SSD Lite-On CV3-SD256 from Lenovo ideapad 300-15ISK laptop. The problem is that sometimes it is not detected in BIOS. After a Google search I found out that CV3 models have this problem and need a firmware update (quote from Dell website): CV3 Series Drive Not Detected Some LiteOn CV3 series Solid-State Drives (SSD’s) have been found to have a BIT Flip issue (an unintentional data state switch from 0 to 1, or 1 to 0, of a bit stored to random access memory) that causes the NAND Flash memory of the solid-state drive to become corrupt and the drive to no longer be detected by the system. Dell and Lenovo webistes provide the firmware updates for these CV3 firmwares: CV3-8D128 T872205 CV3-CE128 TC72205 CV3-8D256 T887905 CV3-CE256 TC87905 CV3-CE512 TC97905 CV3-8D512 T897905 CV3-SD128 TS72202 So, there is a firmware update for SD128 model but not for a SD256 model. Where could I get a firmware update for SD256 model? Thank you.
  8. Thanks, everyone. Just upgraded to Ryzen 5 5500 and the frames are a lot better and gameplay is a lot smoother. Before I got many frame dips, but now games are more enjoyable. Yes, I have 1080p 144hz monitor P.s. What was strange, when I had 1600x, the XMP profiles on RAM showed max 2933MHz. Now that I installed 5500, the XMP is 3000MHz. (The RAM I have is - CRUCIAL BALLISTIX 16GB 3000MHz CL15 DDR4).
  9. Hi. I have a AMD Ryzen 5 1600X CPU and a EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti SC2 GPU. Which one is keeping me from getting 60+FPS on newer titles on 1080p high+ quality?
  10. Just wanted to point out, that you choose how much GB of Video memory (VRAM) you allocate for Linux. Linux 1G = 1GB VRAM Linux 2G = 2GB VRAM etc.. That might be why Anthony had poor performance gaming on Linux.
  11. I noticed, that David used heatgun fix for his PS3. Bad solder joints under Cell/RSX is a myth. Most likely the cause is a bad Nec Tokin capacitors. Here is a fix - The Ultimate PS3 Repair Guide, YLOD Repair, Replacing the Nec Tokin Caps, Delid, Syscon Diagnoses
  12. A bit too expensive to buy a new battery for 10mins I would use it. If 5V is the concern, I can charge with lower voltage as well (but would not the mA be the most dangerous part?).
  13. Hi. I have a phone which will not charge. But I need the battery charged enough to copy data out of it. I have a bench PSU, and I would like to charge the battery with 5v 0.5A. When I got to the battery, I got confused to which pins to connect for charging. Maybe anyone could tell me to which I should connect? Here are some pics: 1. This is a picture with the pins. As I understand they are: 1. P+ (goes to phones battery connector) 2. P- (goes to phones battery connector) 3. +? 4. -? (goes to phones battery connector) 2. Here are voltages between pins 4 & 3 (now the voltage between these pins have dropped to 2.19V) 3. Here are voltages between pins 4 & 2 (now the voltage between these pins have dropped to 1.57V) 4. Here are voltages between pins 4 & 1 (now the voltage between these pins have dropped to 2.19V) 5. The voltage between pins 1 & 2 while disconnected from battery connector 6. The voltage between pins 1 & 2 while connected from battery connector So, to which pins I should connect the terminals to charge the battery? Thank you.
