Hi, I was wondering if I need Windows 11 for alder lake, considering that Windows 10 doesn't have the new scheduler. I did take a look at gaming benchmarks and the performance is pretty similar on both versions but what about multitasking and actual work? Isn't the scheduler necessary to make sure the efficiency cores are used correctly and that the workload is split accordingly?

Hi, I currently have 8gigs of 2400mhz ram with an i5 7600k. And that is not enough for me anymore and I was looking for G.Skills RGB Memory and I wanted to get the 16GB 3600mhz CL18 version. But now I am confused because all of them say "For AMD" on them. Does this mean that they will only work for AMD? Should I get a different speed?

Hello, I am looking for the cheapest upgradeable laptop. It would be cool if it had used 12800s ddr3 memory (I have a 4GB stick laying around) And potentially a upgradeable CPU. Does anyone have any recommendations? Note: it isn't meant for gaming, just for general work stuff and browsing the internet

Hello, so today I wanted to replace the hdd in my laptop so i opened it, and i wanted to take battery out. So i unscrewed and lifted it up and it started to smoke (its a Li-ion battery) I took it outside to remove it. It didnt smoke anymore and i took the battery out. I put the battery back in after some minutes to test the laptop if it works. It wont turn on, even plugged into the wall. Also if you plug thr battery into to motherboard, it makes this beeping noise. What can be broken here? I see nothing burned.

I have the bitfenix Enso and I can control the rgbs with the controller by pressing the buttons on the front. But you can also plugin the controller into a Asus Aura Sync motherboard which I don't have, but is there any device that I can plug the controller into? I want this to control the rgbs through software

Also, I don't have Aura Sync so that's why I want to program the controller

So the bitfenix Enso has a rgb controller that I have 2 strips and 3 fans pluged in (I striped wires to make that work) And it has like 3 animations on how the rgbs light. Can I somehow make my own animation in any way?

So I'm trying to change the CPU clock ratio of the i5 7600k on my Gigabyte b250m-ds3h motherboard. I can only put max 42 in, when I set it to higher, it just sets it back to "Auto".

Its updating while I'm using the pc, so it's just a bar in the settings, also it just showed an error and I have to "try again"

So I installed Windows yesterday, now i want to update it but it's at 30% at "Preparing the installation of windows" (I'm updating through the settings) it's stuck for 1 hour or 2
