  1. Thank you, also one more question. Do you know if the 650 even has 3 8 PCI cables? Finding it hard to find the answer on the corsair website. *Apparently has 4*
  2. I am looking to upgrade to a 3070 TI in the next few days. I currently have an Corsair CX650M PSU which I think will be fine for a short while, this is paired with a 5800x. Do you think this will be ok to run for a short while? I'm looking to upgrade my PSU shortly down the road or do you think there could be an issue on 12V rail? Cheers
  3. Try plugging monitor into motherboard, providing you have an APU. (without gpu installed)
  4. Leave the cmos battery out for 10-20 minutes, also does your motherboard have a Flash BIOS button?
  5. I was running it with Cinebench R15 on loop for 2 hours. I will try this over night and see what the result is. Also random question, can mounting the AIO straight to the case cause any problems or? As I know some people mount the fans to the case and I don't know what is best practice.
  6. Hey, I'm just looking for some advice on how to approach it as I'm new to AIO cooling, I've only used air cooling for the longest time. So I bought a 240m Deepcool AIO a few days ago, I've installed it. Overclocked, ran stress tests to test for stability. All absolutely fine. Now when the heatwave came a couple of days ago, the CPU temperature was fine. Sitting around 40 - 45c though the VRM temps were around 50, I also had a random crash on this day and everytime I would start a stress test it would basically crash(CPU at 40 VRM 48 at start). It's now a few days after and the weather is a lot cooler and completing the stress tests are absolutely fine with my CPU only going up to 75c again. The VRM is hitting around 48-53c, I believe that the VRM temp is what made it crash the other day. Is there anyway I can test if it is the VRM? Also what is the best setup for an AIO cooler? My current setup is 3x 120mm fan on the front all blowing in air. Dual rad on top with 2x 120mm then a single 120mm at the back pulling air out. Would I be better to mount the rad to the front and just leave fans on top? Any tips or ideas would be much apprecitated, thank you.
  7. I would recommend personally... https://pcpartpicker.com/user/ryant704/saved/#view=p92Bcf
  8. If you're based in the UK I would happily purchase the samsung off you. Don't know if this is against the rules sorry, he wasnt advertising was just curious of the thread.
  9. 2x DP 1x HDMI and mini-hdmi (Not sure about last) BenQ Monitor DP to DP Crossover 27Q HDMI to DVI (This is the problem monitor) I have been but I've always tried straight from there website as well. I'm aware safe mode limits it self but the Crossover monitor doesn't work. Not even when it is just plugged in by itself when windows is loaded. Windows is completely up to date. No it isn't, I do have a key but it doesn't work. Though it's worth noting the monitor doesn't even work when it is plugged in by itself. It was a good while ago because I tried fixing it but I just left as I just another monitor but then I sold then one. It is a new build but the monitor worked on my old computer and this one for a little while before I unplugged it. I've updated my bios and had a look around, spent over 10 hours online trying to find a solution. In the past I did use a DVI to DVI but as this computer doesn't have a DVI output from the GPU i've swapped it. I have ordered a DP to DVI to see if that is the issue as well. Nothing in there but I have just formatted my whole pc to see if that would resolve. So update from me, the monitor doesn't working with nvidia installed nor generic pnp drivers(The monitor only works in safe mode or before the drivers have been loaded). It will work with Microsoft Basic Display driver (This is the one it uses in Safe Mode). I believe it might be something to do with the EDID though I have had a look and everything seems to be there (First time so can paste the info across if needed). I think the issue might be to with an generic update somewhere and it doesn't like registering the device as applicable in windows this is why it cant be used. Any ideas? Cheers
  10. Just found in Device Manager that in the event log the following; Device DISPLAY\BNQ7F58\5&2fa9917f&4&UID155909 was not migrated due to partial or ambiguous match. This is going for both of my displays, any solution?
  11. Thank you for taking the time to reply, yes I have tried this and many other things. Update - Just performed a DDU. While completing a DDU in safe mode the computer would boot up and use it as a primary monitor without nvidia drivers. Though the resolution was capped at 800x600 and weren't able to change anywhere due to it being greyed out. Once nvidia drivers were installed the screen would go into standby and the other monitor would activated. I tried this again without my other monitor plugged in, exact same thing the monitor went into standby without my other monitor plugged in. So is this related to an nvidia problem or me? The resolution cap has maybe make me think it is me, as I am using a HDMI to DVI converter though my other monitor is using DP connector. Cheers,
  12. Hello, So I have 2 monitors, BenQ and a Crossover. The Crossover I have a problem with, If i use it as my main display windows 10 will logon, showing from boot until its logged in then it will stop working. It is detected in Device Manager, nvidia settings and display settings. It's not ticked in the nvidia settings but I can't enable it and in the display settings it says Display 2 isn't active. Thanks
  13. I like the look of this, do you think it's worth upgrading the motherboard to X470, there is a chance I will slightly overclock but won't go that far? I feel like it might be a waste of money but also just looking forward. Thank you,

  15. I currently have a Ryzen 7 2700X sitting around and want to put to use. Can someone recommend me a build for this? Budget is around £800 max, also UK vendors or links if possible please.
