  1. I have this same problem with rocketleague, and so far its only rocketleague. I don't get it. The server Windows.Gaming.GameBar.PresenceServer.Internal.PresenceWriter did not register with DCOM within the required timeout. accompanied by this Faulting application name: EpicGamesLauncher.exe, version: 16.1.1.0, time stamp: 0x65e5e2d4 Faulting module name: ntdll.dll, version: 10.0.19041.3996, time stamp: 0x39215800 Exception code: 0xc0000005 Fault offset: 0x00000000000634f6 Faulting process id: 0x1dd0 Faulting application start time: 0x01da71d4dd73a044 Faulting application path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Epic Games\Launcher\Portal\Binaries\Win64\EpicGamesLauncher.exe Faulting module path: C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\ntdll.dll Report Id: 4910707c-b8c7-4693-9365-56856f515c95 Faulting package full name: Faulting package-relative application ID: Ive tried other games from the epic store and they dont crash either, ive reinstalled game on different drives and reinstalled epic games, i even saw a post about using DDU and reinstalling graphics drivers, that didn't work either. Did all pending windows updates. IDK WHAT TO DO.
  2. I got it to work. In the dumbest way. There was a usb header with nothing on it, and I used the front usb from another computer on that empty header and it still worked.
  3. So, I work for a security company doing camera and access control installations. Our home camera servers always come from busted up old servers that were broken or outdated. My camera server is windows 10, I5….not great, but better than most servers we replace. Anyways, customer somehow smashed the front usb and all the pins got smashed together and it fried the usb lanes. That’s why I have it, we only get broken stuff, anyways, here’s my problem. I have a pcie usb card installed, the servers been running this way for quite some time. The CMOS battery died (I guess) and now the server boots into “bios has been reset - please decide how to continue” but the pcie usb card doesn’t work before boot up, so I have no way to select and option to get it to boot. Am I completely screwed? Or is there some other way to get this thing going. The mobo has a ps/2 spot, is that completely separate from usb? I don’t have a mouse for it, but I’d get one if it could help me, otherwise I’m out of ideas.
  4. My wife is looking for a more accurate way to edit her photos in photoshop, she’s tried several different pen pads and pens and they aren’t accurate enough and she just goes back to using a mouse. She’s been looking at getting an IPad or Surface. What I’m wondering is what are the BEST devices for this?(tablet/pen/screen/whatever....open to anything) And then maybe a more best budget type list as well. Or what any of you guys use personally.
  5. Thanks for the info, I learn new stuff everyday.
  6. Thanks for the quick replies! I was going to get the Dell S2716DGR until I realized it had a 1.4 HDMI. So the new question is, is does G sync really make the S2716DGR with only a 1.4 HDMI Worth $200 more than the Dell S2719DGF with the 2.0 and freesync. Ive never used Gsync or Freesync. Why the price difference? Seems like I was about to make a bad choice on that.
  7. So I currently have a 4k 60hz monitor with a HDMI 2.0 input that I use for my Xbox one X which only has a HDMI 2.0 output. Looking to get a 1440p 144hz 1ms monitor for PC gaming but I want it to have a 2.0 HDMI in case I want to hook the Xbox up to it, but many of the monitors don’t specify the type of HDMI they have and I don’t want to accidentally get one with 1.4. I’ve even looked for an adapter from HDMI 2.0 to DP and the only one I’ve found is 150 bucks and specifies that it will work at 4k 60hz but says nothing about 1440p 144hz. To the point, anyone know of or using a monitor that is 1440p 144hz 1ms and has a HDMI 2.0?
