  1. Did you change your drives around? Are they all plugged in? cN you get into bios to set boot order? @Ichigomiku015
  2. @Archie2123 what are your temps like under load? Use Hwinfo or HWmonitor to see temps. Are there any error codes you see, or just a system reboot? What are your full system specs, including PSU?
  3. If it is only office use & you have no need for pcie slots, you could look at a “NUC” PC, go between €150-400+ I think they may be even a smaller form factor than mITX. @Silvally Aegis
  4. What are your temps like during load and without load? you can use a tool such as HWinfo or HWmonitor to see your temps.
  5. No, unfortunately not in that case. Perhaps exchange the ram if you can for a 5200mhz kit and try that. or get a board that supports ddr5 5600mhz, but I reckon that will be more costly than a ram swap.
  6. I googled ‘mobo name bios update + cpu name’ had multiple Reddit threads as top result. On mobile now so don’t have the results page at hand right now. what you can try (and what I would do) is setting your ram at 5200mhz in bios if you can, and reboot and see how it runs then.
  7. Perhaps something like this https://at.pcpartpicker.com/list/4sLK3y its €20 above budget, but choosing a cheaper board can get you in budget. This is a good mobo, but a step down would be fine too. * I’m opting for 5700x over 5600, as it does perform slight better generally, but also for certain games such as simulation based or many objects like cities skylines.
  8. @R1sFa what is the pricing on the 5700x and 5600? as for mobo, any requirements you need from it? Ram go with a 2*8 or 2*16 3200mhz kit and you should be fine.
  9. @Ovationer just from a quick google on mobo + cpu, a few (many) threads popped up regarding that your board is only ‘certified’ up to 5200mhz ddr5 speed for ram. You are using 5600mhz and previous persons had same or similar issues to you. some of them replaced the ram for 5200mhz and it was smooth sailing from there on out.
  10. Have you tried to make a bootable USB key? If you google this there is an easy explanation from from windows Microsoft how to do this. note: you will need a different pc or laptop to download windows first and create the bootable usb key. Once done it is smooth sailing.
  11. This is the 650w variant. Will still be enough wattage would not go lower https://it.pcpartpicker.com/product/WJM48d/corsair-rm650x-2021-650-w-80-gold-certified-fully-modular-atx-power-supply-cp-9020198-na price increase between 650-750-850 seems to be around €10-15 per step. Look, you can choose an inferior quality PSU but I’m someone who rather not skimps on PSU quality. Usually a PSU lasts two ‘PC cycles’ as in two systems.
  12. It could be, but having some headroom is never bad. Considering PSU’s usually outlast a PC build. and you are referring to quite old, not power hungry components. A 3060 be pulling more than a 970. don’t skimp on PSU quality.
  13. Corsair RMx 750W should be fine, could go 850W for future headroom if needed.
  14. Run it directly off of the nvme. Problem solved.
  15. Did you follow the instructions correctly for how to flash bios on your board? Make sure the usb key is in right format, named correctly etc etc
  16. I love the Logitech MX keys. hands down best keyboard ive owned.
  17. Within a month? Hot damn. funny though as my pc collects more dust in the summer time than winter time. last I cleaned was I think early this year. Won’t clean anymore this year. Next year when temps are up again. a PC ain’t gonna die. Remember the workhorses in manufacturing sheds never being cleaned for 20+ years running XP?
  18. @gfvioli have you checked your system temps (if possible as you mention freezing)?
  19. As long as they rolled out a bios update for your board, yes it will work. how are the VRM’s on that board?
  20. I would suggest nonetheless, to download and install DDU and do a clean driver install.
  21. ‘And not even VGA’ what do you expect my dude. It is ancient.
  22. That would be cyber Monday. Coming Friday is the ‘official’ Black Friday iirc.
  23. Thanks for clearing that up, I thought optical was better!
