  2. Just out of curiosity; How many fans can you max connect to one splitter ?
  3. I was running the Ubuntu 18 in it, check my other post for more info regarding g the gpu
  4. Yeah you have to add the gpu’s to fold. check this tutorial. Scroll down to where it says in orange ‘other servers .......” follow those steps and you’ll be gpu folding too
  5. That’s a first I hear this
  6. Pfff... you want to much son. all you said was a good monitor not TN for less than $500. Didn’t mention any other details of what the panel needed. you pipe down

PCPartPicker Part List Type Item Price Motherboard ASRock B450 Steel Legend ATX AM4 Motherboard £87.91 @ CCL Computers Prices include shipping, taxes, rebates, and discounts Total £87.91 Generated by PCPartPicker 2019-10-29 20:16 GMT+0000
  9. Okay, doesn’t make sense getting a 8600 over a 3600 but alright. but if it has to be one go with the I5 jf it’s for 1080p60
  10. Cherry has a bare metal server with 2*1080’s. there is no fee, besides the €0.39ph
  11. I mean if you are in the US / Canada / UK you’ll find real nice Black Friday deals, ranging from anything basically. Make a short list of what you want and see what pricing is once Black Friday sales start
  12. Wouldn’t be running the 3600 on your current board. Would be a limiting factor in performance. As others have suggested, perhaps just try and sell the system for I dunno £150-250ish? Not sure what you paid. add that to your existing 400 and you’ll be able to get a much better system already I’d think.
  13. Wouldn’t be a nice experience on rust tho.. and would definitely suggest grabbing a GPU with at least 6GB
  14. Damn... hope you didn’t pay too much for that .. Anyways, perhaps something like this. Not sure on what budget you have available. PCPartPicker Part List Type Item Price CPU AMD Ryzen 5 3600 3.6 GHz 6-Core Processor $194.79 @ OutletPC Motherboard MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX ATX AM4 Motherboard $114.99 @ Best Buy Memory Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory $82.99 @ Amazon Prices include shipping, taxes, rebates, and discounts Total $392.77 Generated by PCPartPicker 2019-10-29 13:03 EDT-0400 As for graphics card, what resolution are you targeting and fps ? edit; and yes as @Fasauceome mentioned.. what exact power supply is it? I hope not a firebrick but I fear the worst
  15. I use a 2070 with my 2700x, So no. 2700x is a strong cpu, having 8c/16T. i mean for 60 fps at 1440p? 5700xt will easily do that. 4K 120hz? Not even a 2080Ti can do that on high/ultra settings. I would suggest taking a look at some 144hz 1440P monitors too
  16. R3600 with a B450 tomahawk, MAX version it’s possible and fitting within your budget. Works out of the box with zen 2 cpu’s and full bios support instead of skimmed down one (click). currently I find that the tomahawk is a very good price/performance board for the zen 2 Cou’s instead of going for a X570.
  17. Uuu.. 5700XT, hands down, if it comes to raw performance.
  18. Well, maybe we’ll have zen 2+ by then too ?. Haha
