  6. Hi Guys and Girls, Just had my ol faithful gtx 960 die on me and now i need some help with choosing a new one. heavy youtube user at max settings, moderate gamer (fortnite, world of warships,WOW, borderlands 3 ect) i need someones input and experience, im good with shoving hardware together, not so good at picking the parts. i also need one that not gunna break the bank as i have a rather tight budget
  7. contact the board manufacturer, in your case GIGABYTE. the can give you all the info on the RMA Process. as for cpu, do you have anyone local to you that could test the cpu in a similar am4 board. even just to rule out a dead cpu.
  8. try the A1 B1 slots. or do you have any other ram there to test?
  9. ok then lets say 300w just for gpu how much is cpu and mobo and all peripherals pulling? my guess is your just over the 600w max of the psu and when your installing the drivers, its trying to activate the cards full potential and it dont have enough power to do so. when you boot in safe mode, what drivers are you running on the gpu,
  10. well for a dead mobo, warranty or RMA it. do you still have your receipt from when you bought it same for cpu and ram but id start with that mobo. sounds like you got a DOA unit
  11. id check to make sure you dont have a dead or dying ram stick. what config are you running? 1 stick or 2 and what capacity
  12. my guess would be power limits. 750 seems a small psu from ive read and heard about the rtx cards if you have a bigger psu try that
  13. ive been trying to figure this out for about a week already. even tried new ram
  14. yeah mobo is fine as is ssd. no temps avail as pre windows https://youtu.be/tIW19EjlI6Y https://youtu.be/3f5chUilbxw youtube links for vids on what pc does watch and you'll see
  15. Bios splash is where she boots too. No hope of even getting Windows to load. Then just complete power off, like if you pulled the plug. I'd upload a video but 20mb Max upload size Yeah done a CMOS clear. One ssd and that's it. All excess hardware has been removed or disabled.
