I am going to keep the EVGA order I placed will be good to have around. I order and will put it in the closet that thing seems like it will power everything. I did buy a See Quiet Straight Power 11 550W and will put that in should be fine but also got the beef,.,

So I just went YOLO and going to put the on sale 850 quality PSU. I am going to look into everything and learn more. I am at least sane but not perfect. If anyone wants help weld and am good with metal.

WTF to much to learn about power supplies... I know how to overkill and buy a big one, this time I was trying to get the proper power supply. You all are to kind. Today I put some time in and learned about PSU how to use this chat etc.

I would not buy a gaming headset at all. I would buy audio technica headphones ATH-M50x if you want to spend 150 on headpones OR ATH-M20x for like 40. You get what you pay for but both are OUTSTANDING!!! Then grab a Sony ECMCS3 for a mic for like 20 bucks. You will be beyond amazed at the quality you get. You better than people with a Sennheiser HMD 26-600-II-XQ and that not cheap at all.

So what harm dose it do if you just go with a bigger powersupply than you need. Besides price.

Luke no real budget it is in full tower bit phonix that I heavily modified. Cut out everything that is not necessary soundproofed sealed seams. PSU is in the bottom of the back. God I have not gone into a computer parts rabbit hole in a long time.

Lurick that is a pretty PC you have. Learning about PSU in deph is rabbit hole. Right put it into a Killawat says it is pulling 327 no real load on it. I am going to go for the overkill live forever PSU with a 10 year warranty.

I used the New Egg one it may be because of the burner and 3 storage devices may be a max if all is used

The PSU calculator said I needed 672 watts and it is overclocked.

I have been using my same PC for over 7 years and it has kicked some ass. It is a I7 4470k slight overclock good air cooling 16gb gtx 760 some expensive old ASUS motherboard DVD burner SSD and 2 HDD dynamat and silicon seamed case. So started getting some power supply warnings and the fan starts and stops, thing is toast. So I am going to refresh the system by adding a new graphics card and power supply. Was thinking a factory overclocked GTX 1060 or something similar. I HATE RGB!!!!!!!!! I want my system to be as unseen and unheard as possible. I do not mind paying for quality but do not like overpaying. Is a EVGA SuperNOVA 850 proper choice last time I went with a Roswell 1000w that is now failing. Thoughts other options.
