Hey, so I'm planning a small upgrade for my current system using an i5-8400, 16gb 2400 ddr4 ram, the stock cooler and just the usual hard drive as well as an acer mobo and case as well as a gtx 1050 2gb currently on a 450 watt power supply and I was wondering if the supply would be enough for a 1660 ti? I've been getting differing results on different websites so help would be appreciated, thanks!

Need Help with No Signal Only When Graphics Card is Installed

So I went into bios and couldn't find that, I'm running on an acer motherboard if that helps. I'm still getting notifications and everything is fine other than the signal with the card installed too. -
So I just bought a new prebuilt pc from bestbuy that was on sale and after I swapped out the power supply with a new one and installed a new graphics card it booted fine for the first time and all seemed well until I shut it down. When I tried to turn it back on there was simply no signal even though it was running fine. I tested it after taking out the GPU and it's working just fine, so I'm thinking it must have something to do with drivers, but I'm not sure exactly how to get the drivers installed since I can't use the disk drive or install them while the GPU is plugged in. Any help would be appreciated

Hi, so I'm finally trying to get around to getting some possibly broken PC parts diagnosed to determine which one is broken and I was looking at a few shops like memory express which charges 50$ for an hour or less of service and I was wondering if anyone knows any better places in the Calgary, Canada area? (I may also be able to ship it depending on the cost) The issue is pretty simple, all I need to have is the ram and preferably cpu tested so I know which to replace, but I just want to find somewhere willing to do it for less than 50$

Alright, I’ve made sure that everything is plugged in all right, and to my knowledge it is, would there be any way to reset any drivers or anything in the bios if they’ve been corrupted?

So I just built a new system with a core i3-8100, a 1050 ti, and an H310M motherboard and when I try to boot I can’t manage to get any signal from anything! At first setup it was working fine in safe mode apart from blue screening normally due to not having gpu drivers yet. all of the sudden when I turned it off during boot it lost signal and hasn’t regained it since. I’ve tried everything, removing the gpu to force integrated graphics, different HDMI cord, dvi output and. nothing works. The fans turn on fine and the hard drive sounds to be booting, but there’s no signal on screen. If anyone can help me I’d appreciate it a lot! Thanks!

I’m connected via HDMI if that helps, but I still can’t get into safe mode as I can’t see anything on screen, as for the 24 pin connector I didn’t notice a difference when the +4 portion of the pin was detached, so I don’t think that had anything to do with it.

I think it might be the integrated graphics as when I removed the gpu it was still receiving no signal, is there any way to fix this while being able to see nothing on screen?

I tried it on both ports and still nothing, do you think it could be the +4 part of the 20 +4 mobo connector as it seemed loose?

The power button works in the same way as it does while in the BSOD too as it will not instantly shut the system down like normally

Hey, so I just built a new pc with windows 10, and h310m a motherboard, a core i3-8100 as well as a gtx 1050 ti. I was trying to get the device to run while not on safe mode and upon restarting the machine the tv lost the signal. It still recognizes a device connected to it as it goes from no cable connected to no signal upon powering on. All the fans still do run and it seems to be running normally when turned on apart from the sudden no signal, does anyone have any ideas how to fix this issue?

So will the setup I mentioned still work as long as it's using ddr4 memory?
