    tbh I didnt look it up either, I just know Asus is too cheap to put them on a VRM heatsink-less board.

    They're likely a revamp, since they're dedicatin a lot of their performance to the next-gen consoles for Ray Tracing and stronger graphics.  The processors and graphics cards are projected to be released together not too long after the official announcement, but that still remains to be seen.

    If you're in the US you could probably squish in the R5 1600, it's only around $20 more.

    I have a gtx970 (same perf as 570) , it should get you ~45-55fps avg on ultra for most games, some tweaks to lower settings is need.
    if you are buying new , get gtx1660 if you can

    Should work fine. Not sure if you'll hit 144Hz without scaling back the settings or not. But its a big upgrade either way. The RX 550 isn't all that powerful.

    For 450 it's not a bad system. Just please replace the PSU if you can afford it, old thermaltake PSUs are utter crap.

    $450 AUD max 
    I already have the graphics card, power supply and hard drive from my last computer that was a crap box. All I need to purchase now is the cpu, motherboard and ram
