    So will this work with steam link, so your streaming your game from your main computer or is it stand alone? If it's stand alone i'd worry about it being able to run AAA games. Not sure if i'd get it yet, looking forward to some reviews on it.

    Thank you @Whiro for the help! I finally got the motherboard switched out and back up and running! It worked perfectly. I'm back at 100% and looking at starting up folding again! ---------------------- Final message -------------------

    Yes I pulled the whole think out reseated it and put new paste on. The issue still persisted. Sorry I forgot to tell you. Thank you for the help! If there are anything last minute thing you can think of to try I have plenty of time. The earliest my new motherboard will get here is the 16th. I got the rog maximus hero. Mostly for the built in cmos button and WiFi. But I digress.

    Hey guys, it looks like a memory channel has died on my motherboard. I have tried every troubleshooting mesure I can think of. But it seams to be dead. So I am going to have to pull out of the f@h event until the replacement gets here and I can get it up and running. It’s been fun. Y’all keep at it!

    I have decided to buy a new motherboard and hope that works. Is there any chance it could be the cpu? Asking for a friend. I have had this computer for just over a year. I’m just praying this will fix it. @Whiro

    It was working fine and then it black screened with no motherboard light. And then the slots stoped working. I’m going to try cleaning it with some alcohol wipes. But it’s just weird.

    Okay so, I have tried everything I can think of. But the memory I have in slots a_1 a_2 will light up but won’t detect in the bios. I switched around all 4 sticks. I cleared the cmos. I pulled the cmos battery out and let it sit for 10 min. I just left two sticks in the aforementioned slots and got a memory (yellow light) error. I don’t know what else to try or do. Let me know if you can think of anything. My pc specs are broken down in my profile. If you need more info please ask. It will boot into windows but only in single channel with, (half of 32gb), 16gb.

    From my experience, I got Half of my pc parts from amazon and the other from Newegg. It depends on what parts you want and where your located (which many have already pointed out). Make a pc part picker list and it should automatically compare the price for you but amazon usually delivers faster in my experience. Just go with which ever makes you more comfortable or cheaper.

    So after some deliberation, I finally decided to go to LTX. I was a little hesitant because it is going to cost me a lot of money but I said screw it and when ahead and got my plane ticket and hotel room. I then when to purchase my two-day ticket for the event and it wouldn't go through due to a ZIP CODE error. I double checked all the information again and it was all correct. (I had just used the same information to buy my plane ticket). Then I decided to just go on my bank account to see if there was a problem. AND THE CHARGES FOR THE TICKETS WERE POSTED ON THE ACCOUNT. But no big deal right just call customer service... there was no phone number only an email address. So I wrote them an email saying that there is an issue. And after several emails today all they could say was that it was my banks' fault. I JUST WANT LINUS TO TAKE MY MONEY SO I CAN SEE HIM MAKE STUPID FACES ON STAGE. Anyway, Hope this gets resolved. Or I am just going to be in Vancouver with nothing to do that weekend.

    Thank you for your help! I got it most of the directories fixed. This issue I'm having now is I guess the "system folders"(not sure what to call them) merged or something so they all stay in the same directory no matter what I do. Any ideas?

    How do I fix an issue where my documents, downloads, 3d objects, desktop, etc, all are dumping everything in the same location. So everything can be seen on my desktop.
