  1. -_- Sorry... Don't know why I typed PSU, I meant GPU.... lol.. You could get a cheaper graphics card. The PSU is decent, I used to run a 650 MasterWatt before. Caused me no issue.
  2. Looks ok to me. But will you only use it for Minecraft? If so you can probably get a cheaper PSU and spend the saved money on som chocolate.
  3. Try run checkdisk on it open cmd as admin like you did when you ran sfc and run this command before you reboot PC. chkdsk c: /f /r You need to reboot after yo run this command on os drive btw because you cant run it with Windows running so just reboot after doing the command.
  4. I think I would bide my time and save up some more funds. That GPU wont play well with newer games and neither will that CPU no matter what modern CPU/GPU they're paired with. Maybe by the time when you have saved up some more money, prices could've dropped.
  5. It's not bad but limited in the VRM department. If you're gonna use a Ryzen 9 it's best not to use an old €100 motherboard. Ryzen 5 sure, Ryzen 7 should be fine. It's a decent little el cheapo board but has it's limitations and there are better B450 boards than the -F Gaming.
  6. I can't be sure.... I think too a 3800x will be fine and I don't think the 5800x will draw more power so I think it too will be fine but I can't be 100% sure. What I can be sure about is that you should not use a Ryzen 9 with that board. You'd also need to update your BIOS for Ryzen 5000.
  7. Not on a B450-F he shouldn't. OP, I'm not entirely sure if the 5800X will play nice with the VMR on the B450-F but the 5600X should be fine. I THIINK the 5800X will work but I can't be sure. Maybe someone else can shed some light on this. Though a 5600X would be a nice little upgrade for you.
  8. I would recommend that you also run these commands in CMD as admin (search start menu for cmd and choose run as administrator). chkdsk c: /f /r Reboot and let it do the thing. Then when back into Windows open CMD like before and this time do the sfc /scannow thing from above and also the ones below. DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /ScanHealth DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /RestoreHealth Reboot if anything was fixed using these commands. We are also assuming your OS and drivers are relatively up to date though should not be the cause here.
  9. 25 seconds from off to desktop seems to be the norm here. Same with me. Took maybe 15 seconds to power on and POST and then around 10 more seconds to load bootloader and OS. Kingston A2000 (hmm should've tried this when I had two of these in RAID 0 but I doubt it would have made any impact). Ryzen 5 3600x 3200 MT/s DDR4 Kingston Fury Beast. EDIT: Windows 11 Pro.
  10. Yeah true. Maybe I'll just try that vbios again but Im not sure if it was playing nice with my VRM's lol.
  11. When you are choosing where to install the OS just remove all the partitions and format like said before. You CAN do this from Windows but you need to use diskpart and tinker a bit.
  12. Yeah I get it but I was also thinking I could flip the Super if it gave a bit of better performance.
  13. 95°C is not dangerous for the CPU. For good measure though I like to keep it below 70° but that's just the way I am atm. As long you don't overclock and push up them voltages it is not a problem. Voltages are more dangerous than temps.
  14. Indeed. Miss the old days when AMD released the HD 7000's. Back then being a PC gamer was good.
  15. Thanks for the insight, 6700 XT too expensive in this market. I'd love to have one but I'm not gonna shell out 1500€ on a video card. I'm playing a bit of DCS and MSFS how did you know? lol Think I'll just bide my time and see what the future brings. Thanks, was my impression as well. Better performance here and there but not worth an arm and a leg.
  16. Considering to upgrade from my 2060 Super ROG. Mostly running games, anything else is lower priority. Country is Norway. I tried to flash in a custom vBIOS but some things was weird so I flashed original vBIOS back. Got me some noise maybe from VRM I didn't have before, but also some noise from one of the fans. Sometimes it sounds like it's snoring lol. I've always been kinda dissapointed with the performance of this card and now I got a 165Hz Freesync monitor so I would like a bit more oomph inside the case. Sometimes Windows have had it's Explorer shell gone weird forcing me to press the reset button but I fixed that by turning off power saving on PCIe. Still I suspect it is the graphics card. With this situation in regards to availability and price of cards, It's gonna cost a pretty penny. I'm not sure if it's a relatively worthwhile upgrade though. I can get a XFX Qick 6700 XT for around a 1000€. XFX Radeon RX 6700 XT Speedster QICK 319 Would something like this be a decent upgrade for my rig? Also would it be fine to run in gen 3 x8 or should I first upgrade this cheapo B450 mobo? Ryzen 5 3600x stock. 32 GB ran at 3000 MT/s CL16 (dont seem to be able to get it stable at rated 3200). B450-F Gaming with 2x M.2 so PCIe slot for GPU is currently running at gen 3 8x as mentioned. Corsair RM 650x. Thanks for reading.
  17. You can buy up to 4 additional 3,5" cases for some Phanteks cases. Phanteks Innovative Computer Hardware Design
  18. You may need to drop either speed or loosen timings. Even though they are exactly the same, sticks in kits are tested and verified to work together. Also it is harder for the memory controller when you have 4 sticks so maybe more current (volt) on the RAM is required as well... Try this method for clearing CMOS (from your manual).
  19. Did you ever clear CMOS? Try that. EDIT: Also, you have 2 different kits of RAM so, it is highly unlikely you will get them running at advertised speed without manual tinkering.
  20. Then according to MSI something is incompatible. Did you update BIOS for your mobo?
  21. Download tool here: Download Windows 10 (microsoft.com) Make the bootable USB Boot on it Choose repair computer and follow the wizard. If you want a clean install backup what you want to keep and choose install Windows instead of repair.
  22. You don't need it and tell you what. Take the bottom front fan and place it just in line with the PSU shroud and I think that will be more effective at providing your graphics card with fresh air than with 3 fans in the front. So you'll have one fan providing air to the VRM area and the radiator and one for the graphics card. Sounds sensible?
  23. Go into BIOS. I'm not sure with MSI BIOS but you should see something that say either XMP or Extreme Memory Profile something like that. Set it to enabled or simply restore BIOS to default (button may be F7 but I can't be sure).
